Vascular wants another CT scan just to make sure everything is okay from surgery and to check and see if any new aneurysms appeared.
Also having an EMG to check for neuropathy due to diabetes due to herbicide exposure. Hopefully it will return positive as it will increase my VA benefits.

Well that was not a good day. Silver got sick on the way down and stayed sick through today. We think it was a chemical allergic reaction to Dawn dish soap's "New Zealand Springs".
Then the CT got scrubbed because my creatin level was too high as I was not hydrated enough for the contrast dye.
I told them it was supposed to be non-contrast and they said no, it's with contrast. With contrast is spending the entire day in the hospital because you get labs at 720, then IV and whatever time they start the IV you have to leave it in for 7 hours.
So, now they will reschedule another trip down. Yippee.

You get that herbicide exposure in the jungle? Someone close to me had the same issue. Hope all goes well.

Yes, the VA finally admitted herbicide exposure for those of us who had been stationed in Thailand during the war. Many vets had tried to claim exposure since it first came to light in Vietnam, but the gov't denied using herbicides in Thailand (sounds familiar about gov't denial?).
Memos were released in 2009 from the early 70's detailing the use on the base and especially the perimeter where we, Security Police, were placed.
It was even more fun thinking about the fact that after the jungle inside the perimeter died and was felled that they set it on fire!

Wow...finally released in 2009! I am so sorry TxCoord.
I have become very suspicious of our government these past ten years...and this is just another example of why people don't trust our government.
Wishing you the best.

Hi there <<<<< aklnwlf,Lymetoo,and momindeep >>>>>,
TxC' and I were informed that one cannot just say Agent Orange now, there was a rainbow of 'Agent colors' being used.
Agents Red,Orange,Blue,Black, and Yellow all herbicide chemicals or various combos thereof, and all had dangerous side effects. [There may be more colors?]
TxC' and many others are living w/ the symptoms of exposure to the various chemicals that were used.
It is frightening...add in the various Lyme and Co's symptoms that VA doesn't deal with as well.
