I walked a mile today. Been a month since I walked. I was walking for about 3 weeks, and then I got exhausted or more likely side tracked. Anyway, I started back today. I went to the senior center and walked indoors, and I'm not a senior yet. They don't mind. We'll see how long I can last.

I did some kettlebell training today...

I know how difficult it is to get motivated to exercise let alone have the energy to exercise, but I hope everyone tries their hardest, even if it is minimal!

God Bless

Did some grass cutting on Sat. Weed eating on Sun. Now my arms and back are sore.

Kayak-You heading south? Where and when?

Kam-Know what you mean about reading something and then forgetting it. I have the same problem but it's alot better than what it used to be.

Suthern-Way to go on that mile.

TuTu-Thanks for starting this week's thread.

Pony-Whew, kettleball is tough isn't it? At least that's what I heard.

See you all later.

I, too, thought I had posted todays outing but don't see it.

I did the 10 min loop in the forest...which I ended up being on my feet longer as Rosie got sidetracked by a squirrel.

She doesn't come when I call if a squirrel up a tree has her attention.

So, I had to get off the beaten path and try and get a hold of her. Should have known that doesn't work.

Got too fatigued so decided I would just need to get back to the car and recline until she decided to come.

Thankfully, as soon as I headed back she followed me.

I did the walk at 7 am. It is almost noon now and I am still done in even with a nap.

This was my 15th day in a row of being able to do the 10 min loop with a short break half way through.

Sure hope I am able to make it again tomorrow.

I haven't taken any meds or supplements yet. I usually have had both doses by now.

Had a protein drink for breakfast as I was too weak to eat.

Tricky remembering to stay within ones limits.

Dang now, I need to get up and get my ear muff protection. The carpet cleaning van is right outside my door...they are cleaning the carpets in the apartment above me.

I usually leave the apartment when they are around as the noise is too much.

Too hot out to leave.

A few blocks is good oskari. Somedays, just going from the door to the sidewalk is enough.

Day 16 in a row of doing the 10 min loop. Gate is up at the half way point but I am able to get around it and sit on the rock to rest.

Rosie was not ready to get back in the car. She headed down the dirt road. I followed her in the car.

Smelled a dead carcus so knew she would too. Deer or Elk legs and pieces of meat. Man made as I figured if it were from 4 legged prey the rib cage would still be there.

Able to get out and tell her to drop it, gave her a treat after she dropped it and then hooked her back up to the leash and got her in the car.

Soo glad that went smoothly as I was running on empty.

Also able to get a few dishes in the DW and start it up.

Cooked bacon. Resting now then hoping to cook some eggs.

Today is a better morning than yesterday.

Kayak....i really enjoyed reading your post.

Day ? I am undone. I did the 10 min loop without a break this am.

Again, a parade of people on that road. It would be OK if I were "normal".

They are friendly, smile and wave or say good morning and wave.

So I respond. That in itself wears me out before I even get to the trail head.

I have got to start going at sunrise again. I was there an hour after sunrise this morning.

Less traffic but still a lot of people out walking.

Came home and had some down time next to computer. Then went to grocery store.

Over did it. Check out lines were long. I tried wtg but couldn't.

I really miss not having my reclining power chair with leg lifts.

I was using the electric scooter the store supplies. My body got really weak. Had trouble holding myself upright. Right foot is still numb even though I have been laying here a while.

When it goes numb, I know i need to get home and get down...whole body to follow soon afterwards.

It brought me joy to get food though. NOt much. But, enough for the weekend.

I went to the customer service desk when my body was telling me I either needed to forget about checking out or get some help.

A line at the customer service desk too but I caught a person who was leaving the customer service area.

She checked me out which was a pleasant surprise. Unloaded the things on to the do hickey and called someone to put the things in the car for me.

I got some danskin capri pants. The plan is to sleep in them if they are soft enough. Skin needs softness against it.

Thankfully, I got the right size. Didn't have what it took to try them on in the store.

need to hit the thrift shop and find a check ex t shirt to wear with them to sleep in...again a soft T shirt.

I have one that would work but it is scratchy. Can't wear it.

i slept good and continured unpacking and putting stuff away

then hit walmart in the elec scooter chair

i was there a long time...almost didnt make it back to ckout before it wore out

i needed all kinds of things...meds, food, camping stuff, dog stuff

i put off going to big store as long as i can cuz i hate it

i am going to keep putting stuff away-that is the real exercise...but i'm also gonna really try the ellipticle on days i dont ride

at this barn they tack up and untack the horse for me so i am not losing as much weight as i did at the last barn

but i work much harder in the saddle

and the lipitor pain keeps coming back and that affects my riding...

i also took etta to the back yard to let her run and i picked some tomatoes...mater sandwiches soon

alot of ppl are having a very hard time with family and health right now

i feel blessed and hope things get easier for everyone

even my neighbors sister had to evict a family member from their house cuz he refused help and was acting very wierd...who knows

whats that song..."everything is ok...ive got an bed and i;m warm and i guess i'll make some soup..."

kayak .. your mailbox is full

dr was concerned after reading over everything from the hospital... He said, "Now that's scary!"

in other words... didn't know what made me pass out.. thinks it's my heart

i may have been dehydrated though as someone here mentioned. I spent all day Sunday in bed and then was taking meds that are drying

Kind of scanned some of the posts. Planning on coming back and reading them when able...looking good.

Did the 10 min loop again this am. Also cruised the rodeo grounds, staging area and parade route.

Est 1 hr outing. Body is hurting but good to be out of the apartment for an hour.

Heard a dog yipping or yapping. Rosie had run in front of me around a corner so I couldn't see what was going on while on the trail.

But, I was able to get Rosie and I in the car and then ask the lady who was getting her dog in the car what happened.

She said her dog had given Rosie a warning charge and Rosie turned tale and cried.

Rosie had run up to her dog to say hi. Most the dogs on the trail are friendly.

She said her dog would be fine too once she gets to know Rosie.

I heard the lady say hi to Rosie while I was on the trail so thought it was someone we knew.

it always amazes me that people know Rosie. I think I should have her run for town mayor or something.

I guess it is because we are so visiable while out in the power chair.

Long story short. I thought the conversation with the lady was going to do me in.

Too much info, too high of a voice tone and she talked to fast.

It is tricky. All I can do is just get through it. I kind of wished I had just driven by but wanted to make sure all was well with either her dog or my dog...wasn't sure at the time which was let out the yelp.

I can't really tell a new person to slow down, lower your voice and just give me the bottom line as it is too much for me to have a regular conversation and I want to hit you along the side of the head with a wooden paddle when you give me too much info too fast and my brain is screaming.

going to try mino next. Maybe that will help with the processing of the brain.

I mention this as a short conversation has the same effect on my body and brain as if they had asked me to sprint around the block....too much.

I tend to have a negative reaction to the person although I do know it is the lyme.

18 days in a row now. Wanted to go play in the flowing creeks on the trail after yesterday's monsoon but didn't have what it took.

The canal in front of the apartments had a lot of water in it and was flowing fast too.

This am it is dry again. As were the creek beds on the trail.

When I am able to walk through the creek beds there are 6 creek crossing in the 10 min loop.

There is water on down the trail most of the time as I see the dogs come back all wet from playing in it.

I heard it is about a mile down the trail. Looking forward to when I can walk a mile on the trail.

kayak...good to hear you have the sauna again and that you might walk along the river.

Guido...have fun playing in the sky!

tutu...haven't been able to read thread yet but I know you are OK...even if health is flakey. [Smile]

AKW...glad to see you are getting some much needed rest..even if it is forced rest.

My primary doc prescribes one biaxin a day. it was not enough. I recently have been able to take 2 biaxin and 2 amoxy a day.

I still have a long ways to go but it is good to be able to do the 10 min loop so many days in a row...

Sometimes I am able to also do one other thing for the day.

OK fading fast now. I am hoping to be back to catch up on what others are doing.

Yeah! It's Saturday and I'm just getting off work! Yipee!

Plan is to get some 1x6's to fix my neice's bed and am sure Home Depot or Lowe's will cut it for me and maybe put some curtain rods up for her.

I hate it but I have to vacuum sometime this weekend because of all the dog hair from Rocky. I'm definitely losing that battle! [Roll Eyes]

TuTu-I did find that thread after I posted here and hope and pray that you're gonna be ok. Am venturing out to a different church tomorrow (first time since my prior church issues) and will say a prayer for you. [group hug]

Guido-Sounds like the perfect day. Hope you enjoy time with the new friend.

Kam-Rosie for Mayor! Me and Rocky would vote for her! [Big Grin]

Kayak-Had to look at the map! Got Cape Coral and Coral Gables confused. Typical. [bonk]

After I get my stuff done me and the couch are spending some quality time together.

[sleepy]

Did the 10 min loop this am.

Also cleaned up a bit in the kitchen...need to do more

Able to take the trash out

Resting now, then hoping to do the laundry

Need to try and get to the trailhead at sunrise or walk on the dirt road or someplace else in that area....

...it is getting to be like a freeway and too much for my brain ....I still need lots of quiet and no other people around
