Randi, that is great. Do the Bose sound as nice as they are advertised?

For some reason your post made me think of dinner rolls. ???

We had a visit from Santa here as well, and I got a Infrared sauna that I am dying to try out. Maybe today as we just returned home from visiting relatives last night. I feel like my fingers and legs and feet, well all over are so swollen I can't hardly type or walk.
My husband thought I may not wake up, as I was out last evening and this morning, but have awoke from the dead.
Santa also brought me a "pro" guitar for my rockband 3 and the game DJ hero for my Wii. I love playing rockband. It really helps my mental acuity and coordination (the drums really build up my R foot/ankle)
I got a wii points card for more songs! I also got PJ's (always need those), and starbucks gift card and coffee, along with an insulated cup for ice coffee. My dd got me an ergonomic pillow that vibrates for massage. I used it some during the car ride home yesterday, and it feels nice on neck/back.
Lets see, my mom got me new make up. Got some new bakeware (airbake) ...
I am truly blessed!
Good thing my inlaws live in town, otherwise more than 1 trip may have been difficult. We traveled 4 hours each way to my dd house to meet my mom and sis and her kids this year..

Santa brought me something I am not suppose to have and not suppose to use.

I also do NOT like it, and would be happy if I never saw one again ever. I can't stand the noise it makes either.

Getting it was even more icky than getting the portable toilet that was my "big gift" under the Christmas tree when I was a teenager. Yes, I guess I needed the toilet for my camping van, but for Christmas?

[lol]

Thankfully Santa was wonderful in every other way and I am very, very, oh even beyond grateful.

BTW- I needed one, so really can't complain. Any ideas for what this not fun Christmas present was?

Funny ones you are!

And I can't believe it! The gift actually HEARD what I said here and paid me back royally!!!! I know better than to say mean things!!!

Anyhow, it is a vacuum cleaner!

I decided to put it together and use it yesterday. BAD IDEA after being so unkind to it!

In the assembling process my hand slipped and I tore the skin off three knuckles. Ouch.

Then the vacuum cleaner- I'll name him Taz for the Tazmanian Devil- sucked up the wood filler between the old hardwood floor boards, making holes that were so wide the cold air was coming up from underneath the house!

Soooooooo... I got out the can of wood filler and filled the hole, doing a pretty good job of it too, until I proceeded to then forget it was there and stepped in it and pulled it out- so it was then stuck on the bottom of my new shoe!

After scraping that off- almost impossible- did I mention how bad wood filler stinks? ...

I put on an odd shoe and was walking around with two different shoes on- didn't want to climb stairs to get a matching pair.

Bad move- now my back is messed up and my vertigo was acting up due to a difference in heel heights... not to mention how stupid I looked.

About an hour later I AGAIN forgot it was there and stepped in it one more time!!!

I sat myself down on the floor and refilled the spot and decided if I do some of the other little cracks I would surely SEE them next time and NOT step in them again.

So I spent about 40 minutes on the cold floor trying to fill the cracks with a pop-sickle stick. As I filled them I would scoot to a new spot. Little did I know....

This scooting I was doing was OVER the already filled places! UGgggg! So again I refilled the spots.

I was laughing through all of this mess because I knew at that point Taz had a mind of his own and was offended by my earlier comments and was making me suffer.

What should have been a 15 minute job was an all day, actually a multi-day project. 2 teaspoons of wood filler turned into 1/4 of a can of filler. Injuries were experienced, but Taz somehow made out fine.

Today I go back and tackle the LR floor.

Me and Taz.

So for the record... I've decided I was wrong and Taz is a wonderful, smart, beautiful gift that I do appreciate more than anything in the world.

Amen.

PS.... Does anyone have a strong pair of snips that will cut through an electric cord?

[lol]

Thanks for the laugh!

It got up to 70 here yesterday. Crazy weather, felt like 100 with my winter oil in me.
