Does anyone know of any organization that offers financial assistance? I can't afford my treatment, and I really don't know what to do.

Look into alternatives like salt/c and antiparasitic herbs. Do a search on here. Both of these protocols saved my life.
Check lymestrategies for salt/c and also look into Buhner herbs. Inexpensive protocols.

I don't know of any help for us, I'm sorry. But I did want to let you know you're not alone.
I can't work because I am too sick, so we are trying to survive on my husband's $12/hour wages. We have two small kids, one of whom is special needs. And I cannot find a LLMD that takes my insurance. We are receiving food stamps. Oh, and our car just died and is beyond repair. Our only car.
I try very hard not to think about what more this disease will do to me being left untreated. It is too scary to think about. My poor husband and kids.
I'm sorry to vent here. But even though it won't make you better, please know you are not alone.

The Buhner herbs are fairly affordable, like the teasel root tincture I take to keep joint swelling down cost me $15 and for me, it's lasting 6 months! I also take curcumin capsules for the joint swelling, again, fairly cheap.

I used some of the Buhner herbs, especially Japanese Knotweed. I also added Olive leaf (not part of his protocal, but it helped.) Both helped a lot.
The Knotweed helps with brain fog, depression, pain, inflammation. And it supposedly helps to kill the LYme. Also Fish Oil helps with depression and inflammation and brain fog.
Since I have a little more money now, I am seeing LLMD, but cannot afford to go into debt. So most likely will only see LLMD for a while.
Also, if you haven't done so, try to get social security disability. That would give you a little bit more money.

Also, I would call the LLMDs nearest you to see if they could lower their rates for you. Some LLMDs do this. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Sadly, we are all in the same boat. If we had any other disease, there would be financial assistance all over the place. People would be running marathons, etc, etc to raise funds for research and treatment.
