Kind of wanting to keep it on the down low as you know how things go with lyme...

But, this is the start of the 3rd week of being able to do a bit around the house each day.

Today I was able to kind of do the 10 min loop in the forest. They have blocked off half of the loop so I just walked to one point and turned around and came back.

Rosie got a good run. I drove on teh dirt road after I got back in the car as she ran. It was nice and cool out.

She then ran some more once I got back on the paved road.

No cars this am ...usually just cars going to the trailhead when I do see them.

Brain is being weird this am. Thinking of you all and wondering how you are doing.

Able to clean up that spot of spilled shampoo again....slowly getting it cleaned up when health allows me to get on the floor.

Able to wipe to kind of get the grease off of the top cover fo the stove.

learned refrig came in Thurs but they sent it back as it was dented so hoping new frig comes in the end of the week

Able to put 3 linens away. Wanted to do more but everything I tried to do this am was hitting the floor so resting now...really struggling to be on my feet and think too.

Apartment is not set up to do most things via the power chair.

I asked them to take the linen door off so I might have better access as well as the pantry door but I was told no and no place in my apartment to put a door.

I'll ask again. With all the moving in and out maybe they can just use my doors for some of the other apartments.

It is a fold back door so it takes up a bit of access room...very small opening even on my feet.

im back from mts and slept in house last night-paint smell is a liitle better-but it still gives me a headache and i am afraid it will give etta cancer

no legal help available---guess im in the legal aid donut hole

i need to make another run north to get some empty totes to pack up what i had unpacked here and figure out how to live full time in the camper while i paint the rest of the living room and hall floors. i think my sons are coming back to take up the hall subfloor and help me get the tape down that seals off the space between floor and walls.

in 3-4 weeks when the paint stops smelling i will have to see about getting roommates that are not bothered by mold...maybe i can save enough to finsh remediation...maybe i will just go bankrupt...let them have the mt house.

i dont play the lottery...so barring a miracle...

kayak....good you got away for a bit.

I hadn't heard of anyone getting help with mold issues. I think it will take someone with the funds to go to court and set a presidence (sp?)

Sounds like you are moving forward with things and taking it step by step with what you have to work with. This is good.

I don't know if modest needs would be able to help you or not. This need sounds major.

I had my break along with a glass of lemon water.

So, getting up now. HOping I will be able to do a bit more around the house.

Saturday-15 minutes on the stair climber. Weights, bands and bench workout too.

Vacuumed, dusted and wiped down the bathrooms.

Sunday and Monday-Nothing!

Just at work and plan on taking the hubs to Longhorn Steakhouse for his b-day dinner tonight.

Kam-Looks like you're getting out and about. Glad that you're able to do more.

Kayak-I agree with TuTu. Don't see how they can legally sell a house that is a health hazard. Let us know what happens.

TuTu-Welcome home! How was the vacay? Did your feet hold up ok?

See you all tomorrow!

Cable guy was just here...I hate laying in bed so I usually get up and try and do something while they are here.

I started to do this and then caught myself. That always makes me double worse. It is enough just having someone in the house.

The guy was very pleasant but he had some foo foo on which made me worse.

he also explained things to me which I couldn't take in but his voice was soft enough I just pretended I understood what he was saying.

It is most likely going to take about an hour to recover...

The good news is that they will be moving my phone into my bedroom on Friday.

he did the wiring for it today.

Then I will see if I can lay in bed and use the TTY to make phone calls.

I will hopefully be able to figure out if it is me or the TTY that is defective.

Trying again. Good news is the cable guy did the wiring to move my phone into my bedroom.

Then I will be able to lay in bed hopefully and use the TTY.

In the past I have had trouble with the TTY and stopped using it.

Hoping by being able to lie down I can tell if it is me or the TTY that is defective.

Sitting up to use it was not working.

That's GREAT, kam!! [Smile]

AK... Pretty good vacation, but stressful at the end. My inlaws are not doing well... very stressful to see how bad it is. They've gone downhill (even more) since Christmas.

We stayed with my brother in Houston the first week.

We drove 5 hours on Thursday and 12 on Friday. We are both completely exhausted.

My feet are NOT good, and I hurt all over.

i know-i really like the pic too...reminds me of the song about "point my rockin chair toward the west"

and when i saw those lemons i thought kam was sending me a message to make lemonade out of lemons

my lawyer-the only one i have ever found that i like must represent the realtor...it is his full time job i guess

he referred me to another lawyer in town. it seems wierd to take a referral for a lawyer that will be fighting the one who referred him...but i really like my lawyer and have found him very ethical in the past...so after finding out i couldnt get any other lawyr help i looked the new guy up and everyone says he is wonderful...he has a really good rating...it will probably be 100 to talk to him...but im thinking i might.

tutu also has an idea.

my oldest son said on the phone tonight...he just wanted me to stop worrying...that one way or the other we would work this out. for those of you who know how little i see my kids and how much they think i am crazy and dont have lyme this is pretty special. when i whine about the kids again in the future someone will have to copy and paste this to remind me.

he says he will come down this weekend. that is huge cuz it is his wifes birthday.

he will help get a part of the house sectioned off and clean so i can have a space to cook and go online and get going with repacking and emptying house so mold guys can come

i will probably keep sleeping in camper. last night i thought it was ok to sleep in house and it was a mistake. i got sick and brain got messed up but i didnt know it. i hope i didnt do too much damage with my big mouth when i was acting wierd.

i drove to the mts and got the dehumidifyer and on the way back it was dark and a HUGE cat with a LONG tail ran across the road in front of me. there have been sigtings of this cat...they are not supposed to be here...but it is the 2nd time i saw it

many strange things happening with wild animals

i got bit by a mosquito while loading dehumidifyer and i am scared. last time that happened i almost died. got that flesh eating infection and had it cut out of my abdomen twice...biggest scar i have except for my knees. im sliced up with multiple 10 inch scars and my sister is worried about spider veins. wow. life sure is wierd.

i think i will get cancer from the fumes. i think i will have a heart attack from the stress. ihope the kids are right that i am too stubborn to die. i really am not ready.

I like it! I'm goin go where the green grass grows...point our rockin chairs towards the west

The pic was just to remind us to hydrate...i had just made me a glass of water with lemon slices.

Kayak..hoping he will do a consult with out charge.

Wow. Glad you are getting some help. That is big.

When your health is low...all these things are very stressful. They are things that would be stressful without low health.

Able to kind of make my bed this am, feed dog and cat, opened blinds, took Rosie out to toilet in the small, upright pC...ouch...I have got to remember to use the larger one with the leg lifts and that reclines, made a cup of coffee...resting now as that did me in.

Next step will be to take Rosie out to the forest to stretch her legs. I most likely will stay in car. We shall see once I get there.

Depends on how i do just getting from the apartment to the car a few steps.

tutu...I just read about your trip. Hugs.

Refrig was replaced this am. That did me in.

Even though the conversations were short with the people who delivered and the maintenance man on site...it was too much.

But, I got er done. Got what little food I had transferred from the one frig to the other.

That did me in for the rest of the day.

I am doing the ice pack thing now on the brain. Hoping that helps.

hi all. what a day. i did some physical exercise tho. from about 8-11 i moved a lot of stuff so new worker ppl could give me estimates. heavy totes. i just did it. ten i met with 4 ppl. that was brain exercise. i got more info to think about.

the mold ppl kind of contradict each other but i think both companies are good ...just do things different. todays estimate was more than twice the first one. but then they started to tell me ways to break up the job and what i cold do myself to hold the costs down so i just have to process it all.

tomorrow i will have to rest to be ready for working with my son all weekend taking more rugs and pads out.

etta got her kennel cough shot so she is going for an interview at daycare monday. if she passes i will send her at least 6 hrs a week. she really needs friends . she is acting strange...too many changes for a little one like her and the paint fumes are probably messing with her brain like they are with mine.

i think i should probably buy a good gas mask to work this weekend.

my daughter neeeds a raincoat. i need a gas maksk. oh my....the world is changine and i feel very old.

Able to load the power chair and head out to the forest. Est 10 or 15 min in power chair..

I had help loading and unloading...it made a big difference and confirmed that if I had wheel locks on the lift it would be more do able and safer.

Not sure how these work though. I assume I would not need to strap the power chair down but just might still need this??

HOt out all ready. I think tha twas around 7 am.

Hoping for monsoons the next few days to help cool things down.

The person who helped me is one of the rare people I can be around. She was dx with Parkinsons.

She was still teaching. I didn't think to ask if she retired yet.

She is getting her service dog in October after 2 yrs of driving down the hill every 6 to 8 weeks and working with him and $6,000.

Harness is $500 to help her stabilize.

Kayak...sounds promising. You keep on keeping on. [Smile]

Looking forward to when things settle down around you.

ALW..have fun at the celebration.

FRIDAY! FRIDAY! FRIDAY!

Whew, thought it'd never get here.

Today-15 minutes on the stair stepper, workout with weights, bands and on the bench.

Trotted Rocky around the backyard.

Did a super quickie dust, vacuum and wipe down of bathrooms.

Meeting my nephew after work. We're doing Mexican and movies again this weekend.

Am looking forward to some serious down time.

Kayak-Glad to hear that you're getting the mold situation fixed. Not a bad idea to get Etta out of the house too.

Kam-Know what you mean about it being hot in the morning. I try to get my exercise done as early as possible because of the heat. Can't wait for it to cool down.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Able to get out of the apartment for an hour this am.

Back at 8 am and it is alll ready too hot to be out.

Drove out to forest area 3 miles away and cruised in my power chair. ESt 25 min.

Loading and unloading and loading and unloading was not an problem this am.

Took it slow and easy while cruising on the streets...taking in the view. Went a bit further than we usually go.

Stopped at two yard sales on the way back. On my feet for them...est 5 min...just the walk up the driveways and back is enough.

Mostly I like going to yard sales as I get to see areas I have not seen before. Interesting how some area's feel like home and others I want to just pass on by...even though they are nice homes.

Tried to make some ice tea but it bitter?? Guess I need more honey??

While I was out cruising in the power chair int he forest area...I thought it would be nice to share this with someone...

I had a someone in mind too...actually a few someones.

Then, I recalled I have tried this in the past and it is too much on my health so taking it slow and alone is best for now.

long hard weekend with son and grandson working oon house. they left at noon and i paid handy man to seal cement with paint. tomot=rrow i will take a few loads to dump alone. im so glad i made friends with the dump guy. then i guess i need to go to mts to get the ozone machine from my brother. i have calls into mold ppl and flooring ppl.

honest...i have lived a hard life both as a child and adult. i have been thru hard times many times. but what is happening now ...i dont know how i keep going on. but i do. i have a mini breakdown and a friend or son comes to the rescue...not with the answer but just to encourage me to solve the problem in front of me and keep on...and somehow i straightern aout and do it.

life. this experience has me thinking deep. and still...as bad as it is...it is so easy to see others worse off.

oh yeah. met my neighbor. hes really nice. his dog is ettas new best bud. hes 51. has had ms a long time...is on meds...and doing pretty good. still working. first time we met and he opened right up about it. he has seen me over here in and out of the wheelchair. but its good to know there are nice ppl around
