Happy and blessed Easter to everyone!! We had such a great service today. Two kids had their first communion and one little 5 yr old was baptized! Made me cry. She's such a sweet little girl and I get to teach her in Children's Church.

We also had the kids sing a little song called "Alleluia" at both services. They were so cute!
It's the one that goes "Allelu, allelu, allelu, alleluia, Praise ye the Lord!" They had little shaker bottles they made for the rhythm.

I hope everyone had a great day. I hope you got some Easter candy, because I sure didn't! [Big Grin]

****Kam's post from today****

I'll be back to read your posts.

I did catch Hiker's asking me if my friend is still here.

No...she left a few days ago. Even while she was here I did a lot of sleeping during the day....

And I am still sleeping a lot during the day.

Waiting it out until I can do the dishes or laundry or get grocieres, etc.

Or until I have the help wtih thse things...

Need to get up and take the clothes I have off as they are not agreeing with my skin...I need soft clothing..these itch.

But, so fatigued...getting up to change clothes...well..I keep puttting it off...hopefully I will be able to soon.

Lymetoo,

Thanks for starting this week's thread. Happy Easter!

No Easter candy for me--traded it in for my daily Humaworm--LOL.

Gorgeous here--almost 80 and sunny. Took a walk, did my PT, and sat outside to read.

I had a three day weekend and as much as I like my job, I don't feel like going back to work tomorrow. 7 more weeks of school and then 2 months off!

Have a great week, everyone.

Sounds like great weather. It's about 75 here but we will get rain tonight and a cool front.

I've been inside all afternoon. [Frown]

As I am typing this, Ir ealized I need to visit an auto parts store and see if I can get some of that stuff they put under the hood.

A mechanic I went to left something in a spot that it is not supposed to be in and it rubbed the stuff off...now there is a strange colored spot on the outside of the hood and it is getting worse.

I know I should have taken the car back years ago but to be hones I can't recall which mechanic it was and health is rarely doing well enough to visit mechanics.

Go ahead and cry, you guys. Sometimes I need to cry and can't muster the tears. Yes, it's good for us.

Kayak.. Sure hope you can figure something out. Do you need to get your friend to get the moth balls out of the attic?

There is no way to get the moth balls out of the attic
She threw them in from the only opening and they landed on 18 " of fluffy insulation..i havent smelled them in the house-only out in carport near entry to attic

When i had the attic de-molded and new insul put in last summer they put in new venting so it has a really good ststem...air comesin at bottom of attic and rises thru and goes ou top-so it must be taking a lot of the gas with it

I just asked my girlfried to help put the steel wool around plumbing where critters are coming in and shes too lyme sick

I.have names of helpers frim craigslist but im just scared

Back to work today and am exhausted. Will head to PT soon.

Rain is moving in--does the weather change affect anyone else? My ears go beserk which affects my balance.

LP--I cried yesterday--seems to be a trend around here, but it can be healthy.

Rough day at work - dizzy and so much pain in my ribs :-(

Left the office early and went to the chiropractor, so nice that he could squeeze me in without an appointment.

Now the pain is back

Thanks for listening to me whine.....

Tuesday-Back at work today. Did some filing upstairs now just sitting here up front and answering the phones.

Guess what gang....I had a leisurely weekend! Got together at my nephew's for Easter dinner. I baked a ham and made deviled eggs. Josh made homemade mac and cheese and a rum cake. My Mom made green beans and brought some rolls and my niece brought a cheesecake.

I've probably gained 2 of the 4 pounds I lost a couple of weeks ago!

Then yesterday I went shopping at TJ Maxx and bought a blue leather overnight bag and a great Ralph Lauren striped shirt for work. I'm cooking with gas now! LOL!

Felt great to have some down time. See you all tomorrow!

AK... TJMaxx is the absolute BEST place for luggage! Great luggage and GREAT prices! I have 3 suitcases from them! They will last forever.

kam.. You seem to be feeling better than you felt this morning! I'm glad you can watch movies!

hiker... hope things are looking UP for you.. maybe it will be better after the weather comes through.

pointer... hang in there...whining is good for something!! [Wink]

I went to get a new cellphone today. I did NOT want to do that!!! NO!! I like my old Motorola RAZR phone... which I found out is probably 8 yrs old!!! [Big Grin]

(my Razr landed in the toilet several months ago and it is not able to carry on anymore!)

So... I found out I can get an iPhone and be on the internet for LESS money than we are currently paying! The phone is FREE and my husband is eligible for a new one too!!

I kept resisting buying a smart phone because I didn't want to pay a monthly fee for being on the internet with it. I don't really NEED that.

The only hitch is that I need to wait almost another month because my billing cycle just changed over to the new month 2 days ago. It will save me about $90 to wait.

They gave me a loaner phone, so I am fine with that. I needed something to look forward to anyway!

I was watching Grey's anatomy. I heard the same sounds coming from one of the actor's phone.

It is the noise it makes when someoen is calling me.

I looked at the phoen and the call was from VA.

Glad I din't answer it...guesing it was arandom sales call??

I have't figured out how to post picture to FB yet.

ALW>.just read your post again. Yum. Easter dinner sounded good. Don't know how i Missed that the firest time I read your post. [Smile]

I am still in the flip phone era. I don't text and I rarely remember to turn my cell phone on.

Physical therapy was really a workout yesterday and I am sore, but it really felt good for some reason.

Talked to energy healer--who called to give me a tip on a condo (too expensive and needs too much work, but I love it). I had not even told her I was interested in a condo!!

She things parasitic worms are the cause of my relapse and that Humaworm is doing a good job, but not killing all of the eggs.

That makes sense, because I always feel great after a round of Humaworm, but then a month or two later begin to feel lousy. So, I may need to take some extra cloves or figure out something else to kill the eggs.

I see the healer on Friday.

Tutu the guy swore my new phone was free and it took me 6 months to realize they were charging me for it every month for 3 yrs

My life keeps getting more and more out of control

Some family problems i cant write about

Some neighbor priblems-my fence was hit by a snowplow and i talked to the guy and he said he'd fix it but he hasnt done

anything-i guess im supposed to report it

I did get the little book orded that i made on blurb.com for the

christening

Its an easy site if i can use it-check it out

It seems i may have a huge mouse infestation under the house that is on a slab...its nice. They should be out in the woods but they keep coming back looking for dog food

I put flour on the floor to figure out where they were getting in-some is by plumbing that i think i can fix...but i also found where they ate right thru the baseboard and backs of cupboards-i dont know how to fix that

It was all too much this afternoon and i ran away to the beach-the wind and waves were perfect-i would have stayed longer if i had the camper...

Able to take a stand up shower and also give Rosie a shower this am.

Drove to dog park...not there long but good to be there.

Hoping it is not like last time I went...I was down for several days afterwards

8:40 am. Wondering how long I will need to lie here before I am able to get up and get some yogurt for breakfast.

I also would like to put on some lotion...body is very dry.

So happy you were able to get a shower for you and Rosie!! [Smile]

kayak.. We've been with this phone service for 17 years so I know they aren't lying to me. The girl I spoke to is the manager of the place. Can't wait!

Got my haircut this morning and spent a few minutes at the health food store. Kinda itchy today. Ugh...

Wednesday-Got called in early today so working 11:15-7. I need the extra money so was glad to come in.

Today is Secretary's Day and I received a lovely beach towel with my name monogrammed on it and a gift certificate for a manicure. Yipee!

Now I just need to go somewhere to use that new towel. [Cool]

Kam-I'm like that too. Rarely cry, but if I watch a sad movie or a chick flick....look out....water works!

TuTu-Oh man, I wish I could afford an Iphone. I have a Net10 Huawei smartphone. I'm paying $90 a month for 2 smartphones with unlimited talk, text and data.

I used to have a Razr too but accidently crushed it in the recliner.

Hiker-I've got to try an energy healer. I found one in my area and have to set up an appointment. I've got a lot of physical damage from an accident and have tried PT and massage but am not where I'd like to be recovery wise.

Kayak-I've got a new beach towel that needs a test run, can I head to the beach with you?

See you all tomorrow!

[hi]

Woke at 4:30 am ish. Able to get dressed in yestrerday's clothes. Take Dog out to toilet...need to go back and pick up pooop when able.

Wante dto do some thing sround the apratment but not able to so laid back down.

REsting now and then I will tray again.

Tutu...before lyme and cmpany I would eat first thing in the am.

Since yme and company I have not been able to do that.

Not able to sit uprigh to teat.

Need to wait unti lsystem can eat without choking.

Need to eat soft foods most of the time.

Supposed to be in the 90's down the hill the next couple of days and then drop to 70's.

Haven't checked local temps but guessing in th e70's here. Nice out yesterday. Would have liked to be able to be outdoors more if health allowed it.

Thankful for large power chari that I can recline in and put feet up whe nin power chair.

Even curising in the power chair is limiting now.

Use to be able to go around the clock.

Now, I am doing well if I am able to go across the street and leave the apartment parking lot.

Mentally ready to go camping again. Phyusically need to get food and get it ready and in car and pack clothing bag.

I think the rest is still iin car.

Also need something to help keep us warm at night.

Thinking of taking the Mr. Heater back and getting the LItle Buddy Mr. Heater.

Large heater gets too hot so I turn it off. Then it is too cold in tent.

A warmer sleeping bag would help me but not keep Rosie warm.

Able to drive Rosie out to the forest thi sam. She had a good run. She di dnot want to get back in the car 1st try...so drove a bit further, 2nd try...nope, so drove a bit further..3rd try...yep.

Glad i contiued to drive because right befor ethe 3rd try she throw up ...not sure why that happened...kind of looked like a pile of undigested cat food.

Need to find a palce to up high to feed cat so rosi can't get to it.

I have the cat food blocked off in a corner area now but sometimes forget to put the bin I use to blacik it off back...

..it also is difficult for me to get in and out of bed as the bin blocks me off too.

Not liking the cat this am. She wants back outside again.

She waits until I lay downa nd start to feel humran again and then she wants me to get back up and let her out.

She sits on a cat stand at the windwo in my bedroom.

She looks out the window and then at me.

If I don't respond she starts jumping heavily on my bed and knows that jumpoing on my chest is the clincher.

She also will do the meowing thing too which my nerves never like...thankfully she rarely meows and arely does the in and out thing except for first hing in the am .

She really is a good cat....and I can judge how I am doing just by how much I don't like her. I know it is my health and not her...a good health day when I am fine with her doing her thing in the am.

Mom...need food
Mon...just wanted to say meow

Mom..want out

Mom want in

Mom want out

PS Rosie has been trained. I know i need to get her out 1st ting in the am to toilet.

And then feed her.

Then get in the car and rive her out for some off leash time...aster that she is good until the vening...

I'd like to drive her twice a day some place for off leash time but health usually is not up to it.

Good day when I am able to dso.

She lays in bed with me or just lays on the floor and waits for me patiently

If her patience runs out..which is rare..I get the look.

I voice and sign to her 10 more minutes, etc. She lays back down. WWits a bit more.

If I haven't gotten up after awhile..she gives me the look again.

Able to be on my feet long enough to wash some more dishes. Almost caught up now from last week or was it the week before??

I just have two glass baking dishes to wash and a few odds and ends.

The glass baking dishes take elbow grease. I might not be able to get them washed.

Doing the coughping choking thing as I lie here so hope this makes sense. Eyes are closed.

I ddi send an email off to a neuro down teh hill re: confirming or ruling out POTS, MG, etc.

I also rec'd an email telling me which doc to see at Mayo for POTS.

I know both places are not lyme literate.

But, if they are able to help me e on my feet or sit upright for longer than 5 or 10 in on a good day it will be worth it.

If they can help with this choking coughing thing too it will be worth it.

The only thing that seems to help both issues is to just lay still not not use my brain...veg

I also need to fill ou teh new patient form for the LLMD in CA that takes medicare...have been needing to do that a long time.

Maybe I can at least get it printe dout this am or see if my sysmte will allow me to print oitu out..in the past I wasn't able to

Got LLMD's form printed out. Able to fill out first page..tried to do the next pages..symptoms...and brain struggled

realized I was doing things wroing...

so reprinted those pages out...

i'lll need to take it section by section and do a little at a time when able

so not much physical exercise involved with the exception of trying to hold my body upright while trying to figure out what I am seeing on the apge

iddn't last long...brain stuff..would have rather used braint o go for a wallk in the forest...but that is what all of this is about isn't it...

getting to the pint I can do things besides laying in bed and vegging.

Thursday-No exercise today but had to go upstairs at work and do some filing. It's starting to get hot up there and I was sweating.

Someone here at work said I was losing weight and she asked if I was dieting. I said that I was going upstairs to use the 'sauna' and that was my big weight loss secret.

A slow day and I'm glad to just relax right now for a couple of hours.

See you all tomorrow!

Able to put some laundry away...clothing...a few things very wrinkled as they have been waiting awhile to be hung up...oh well.

A lady who lives here at the apartments cleaned the front seat of the car.

Hoping to go see it when health is doing better.

So nice to have help. Hoping it works out.

Friday-No exercise. Went this morning to pick up my new glasses. I enrolled in vision insurance and was able to get some nice glasses this year.

The optometrist said my old RX was way too old and I'm having a little trouble adjusting to such a strong RX.

I picked dark tortoise Ray Bans with Transition lenses. Also this is my first pair of bifocals and I choose progressives.

Wow! It's great that I don't have to take off my glasses here at work to see close up. I'm still having to adjust to them though.

See you all tomorrow!

Hope to read your posts after I rest my eyse a bit.

Able to help the caregiver this am with putting sheets on my bed.

She had something going on with her arm or shoulder. So, could only use one arm...kind off.

I also tried to get the dirt off of my headboard and then use HOwards wax and Feed on it...bottles are so old all I could get out of them was oil..so need to order a new bottle.

Less dirt near bed now...caregiver was able to vacuum up down feathers and along the baseboards.

I was able to clean the baseboards that vacuuming did not help.

That was it for this morning's caregiver help for an hour.

Need to make a pitcher of the lemon cuke drink when able...brain just isn't up to it yet today.

Rosie just acame to tell me it was time for her treat ball.

She ate all the treats yesterday when I forgot to put them in the frig.

So, no treat ball tonight.

Able to walk the few steps into the pharmacy and pick up sleeping meds.

And drove out to the river..creek as we are in a drought...not able to be ther elong..walked a few steps and took a couple of pics of the swallows and their nests...but don't know if you can really seem them on the rocks..I'll know once I figure out how to post on FB.

Took pics with camera.

It was a good morning emotionally...

..but brain is being well..got the pressure thing going and not able to do anything but lie here this evening...not so bad...could be much worse.

Need to hydrate more.

AK... Those glasses sound wonderful!! Congrats! We have vision insurance too. It's not expensive at all and has really saved us money. I hope to have enough money to buy some prescription sunglasses soon. I really could use them for traveling because my eyes get sunburned just traveling in the car.

I will put those wrap-around sunglasses over them.

Kam... Poor Rosie. I guess she's not happy about not having a treat ball tonight. Kam... you haven't had the inflamed brain quite as often lately?? or not??

I hope this bout doesn't last long. Prayers for you!

[group hug]

I went to the grocery store today and also mailed out some angels that a friend bought from me. They are flying out to Texas!

Ak-i remember whwn i switched to bifocals. After that i trird tri focals but had to return them

Since the car accident in 94 when i got a catarac i have used the tinted glass. I love it no sunglasses to lose

It surprised me how little tint does the job of such dark sun glasses

Also-congrats on "looking like" u lost weight!

Yea for angel sales tutu-glad you got out

I still havent started formal exercise altho it is on the list

I have done a lot of bending and stretching and weight lifting and walking with the cleaning

Im packing up as much as i can in totes again because i think i have to have some of the floors finished and get baseboard back on to get a handle on these critters-i still dont know what they are but they wont stop even with 5 or so different repellents

For FUN when i went to pick up one more box of repellent...i also boght some little plants: leaf lettuce, kale mix pansies and petunias

My friend who is good at decorating said to get deep purples because of new shutters

I hope i have made enough progress to put them in tomorrow-theres only a few but it will be exercise for me and relaxing

If the last plan of steel wool doesnt work with critters i will have to cancle my dentist appointment and use money to have professionals poisin them

I dread that-but i have tried everything for two weeks to get them to leave-i will have to leave for awhile and when i am here keep really close care of etta-hipe it doesnt come to that

Its almost spring up here!

Saturday-Yeah! Off for 2 days after today. It's my nine hour day but pretty slow and it's almost lunch time. I brought a salmon, spinach, fat-free cottage cheese and balsamic vinegar salad. My salmon is about 6-7 days old and hope it's still ok.

Kam-I was laughing when I read about Rosie eating all her treats. Rocky gets joint medicine at night and afterwards he gets 4 animal crackers. He'll act like he hasn't had them and go to someone else for some more.

TuTu-I'm enjoying my new glasses so much. I'm only paying $20 something for our vision insurance and wish I would have done it years ago.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hey gang,

Sounds like everyone's week is going pretty well.

I have trifocal progressive lenses and I hate them. I still cannot walk up and down stairs or take a walk outside with them.

They are great for work--to see the faces of the kids and read as well as for computer work, but I wish I did not have to wear them at all. They did come with magnetic flip on sunglasses which is nice for driving.

My vision insurance is crummy.

Very nice out today. Thought about buying some Weed 'N Feed, but the line at the store was ridiculously long. I hate to put chemicals on the lawn, but my neighbors in the back hate my dandelions. However, the dandelions will live a while longer.

Went for a short walk. Spent a lot of the day getting my food ready for the week after grocery shopping.

I did get to sit on the deck and read, though, until it got too windy.

Saw the energy healer yesterday and did a lot of work on my nervous system (and shoulder). I really wanted her to kill any parasites I still have in the body, but she was concerned it would make me too toxic all at once as she has no control--it's all or nothing.

We decided I would finish the month of humaworm and then she might try to kill off any eggs that are left.

Wow--this is long. Had fun reading about everyone's week. Enjoy the rest of your Saturday!

Able to be on my feet for a very shot walk into the dog park..we had the place to ourselves.

Then, I think I came home.

Went to Walgreens....when they opened...on my feet. Able to get shampoo and conditioner and hearo ear plugs with gift card.

Came home..reclined.

Then, off to walmart to return a camping thing...that went very well...in and out...used electric cart once I was in the door

Got help right away from the service desk.

Hardest part was being on my feet and carrying camping thing, rosie's vest, my purse and the receipt and having Rosie on the leash....to the elec cart.

Brain really struggles wiht having to multi task.

MOst likely down for th ecount now. Lost remote to TV...got on hands and knees looking for it but couldn't find it.

So no TV until I can find the remote.

Not a happy camper.

Playing simple games on the computer while watching TV helps take my mind off of being so low fucntioning.

Friend came and helped foam the holes where critters get in...

I was on my feet a lot and had to think fast and move furniture-once you start you have to keep going til can is empty

Sure hope this works.

Yesterday she stuffed a lot of kitchen plumbing holes with steel wool and last night they drive me nuts chewing in all kinds of other places...i guess they really depended on that dogfood supply and dont like i shut the door

I couldnt sleep until i had bright lights on in every room, moved some furniture away from wall and poured peppermint oil where i heard them,,,there were all kinds of new places

Then i covered my eyes with quilt and sl er pt in recliner for awhile

I really wanted to mess around outside with plants but its pretty cold

I have 12 cedar planters that bring plants up 2 ' from ground so i think i can manage them...i also want to trim off what is left of some perranials from last year-they are starting to grow so they made it thru this hard wintet

It is also going to be exercise to put this house back together but i cant do that til it airs out for 8 hours
