While my childrens father is at work he has his father, watching them. Which would be fine and all but I don't like the way they are treating my children.
I understand I am a "mom" and usually moms don't feel its done right if they don't do it sort of speak. Thats how I feel anyway,
But I have put all of that on the back burner because I know they aren't abusing my children or anything. My daughter just turned three and everytime I call, twice a day, my daughter is always being spoke to in a rude manner and I am not liking this at all.
I don't like anyone speaking to my kids the way I am hearing their grandpa speak to them. I have told their father time and time again how I feel and he could care less. He says he loves his children 'no doubt' and he is doing everything the way he is doing it because he has them.
Everything I say to him I can tell does not grt taken into consideration and goes in one ear and out the other.
I am at the end of my rope with this and I feel terrible not being able to fix this problem.
I have had the help with "The Family Independence Agency" in the past and I was wondering if anyone knew if they had any program where the kids would be able to stay home with me and they would help me find a live in Nanny sort a speak.
I know I have only been on meds for a month and it seems that it may be a while if ever that I will be able to do it on my own.
I just certainly feel ther has got to be another way if their father is not cooperating with the situation.
THank you
Gosh I feel so much empathy with you. I tried once ,3 years ago, to find an agency that would come in to help with my kids, to no evail. However I joined a big church and the ladies there would take turns for a couple months coming over to help me clean, cook, or watch the kids for me when I was too ill to care for them myself. Are you too weak, or is it irritability, or something else that keeps you from your kids? Im so sorry your going throught this. Dang it! Ide cut off my right arm for a cure to this damn thing and a leg too. lol..im serious!

SO, You're man sounds like mine. IN one EAR out the other. I just spent a half an hour harping about him in a post.
I really feel for your situation, nobody cares for the kids like we do.
We carried them for 9 months and NOTHING beats that.
My child suffered dearly having to watch me when i was sick and dying, you are lucky in one sense that they don't have to see it, my son was greatly affected by it.
I don't have any good advice, except keep asking him to do something about it, but they are so STUBBORN.
I know nothing of this agency you mention.
Just want to wish you luck dealing with the situation and don't stress too much, I know it's hard, but stress will hold back your heatlh and you want to regain it to get them back.
Get better soon.
Lymiecanuck
I started to get these strange pressure headaches about a month ago right after My stiff neck started. My symtoms have changed so much since day one but the extereme fatigue started a week after I noticed something was going on and it was like hitting a brick wall.
All the sudden bam, my life stopped in an instant as well as being able to care for my kids. I did not work or anything, I lived to be a stay at home mommy. LOVED it MISS it.
I understand its going to take time to get better, the dr. says he thinks we caught it early enough to not be permenant and he treats and continues to treat until you are symtom free for 2 months.
It sounds good to hope and pray that I caught it soon enough but I really hear in the back of my mind that I will never get better. That is scary.
lymiecanuck- your soooo right about the man thing. I am trying soo hard to keep on him about the fact that I am still their mother and I need to be able to discuss what is going on you know!gosh!
I am trying not to stress too much right now because I need all the energy I have to fight this infection.
When you said you were really sick and dying, were you referring to your recovery from lymes? I swure would like to here soo positive recovery stories too keep me going you know?
Thank you both and may God bless Us!!!!!!!!
How often are you getting to see your children and when you do how much time do you get to spend with them?
I ask because you want to keep that contact in person. Not just on the phone.
Do you have any family or friends who could bring you children over and assist you and let you spend time when them so there is not the stress of having their dad there?
One thing about the stiff neck that REALLY helps me is the Magnesium and B-6. I actually started on it after reading about it here and it has totally helped my muscle contractions!
Just remember to take it at least two hours before or after abx.
There are some great articles about it here if you click on search under the post reply and type in Magnesium and B-6.
One more thing. Who is assisting you with your self-care, general needs i.e. shopping, food prep, cleaning etc.???
You may need to contact a social worker in your area and see what is available that would work for you.
Peace and Blessings,
Maggie
