I am going to see this doctor in January. This was the first time they could get a new patient in. I have heard some good things about this doctor and his clinic. I would love to hear from people that have gone to him. Tell me what you think - good or bad.

I am a patient. What specifically would you like to know?

Have you read up on what is on the clinic website? The article there will give you lots of info on his philosophies and protocols. Guess I shouldn't list the address on here but will just email you directly with that info, in case you don't have it.

Sorry it's taking you so long to get in. I had heard they are really busy!

Connie

Connie...I also emailed you privately.

A friend recommended this clinic. She just starting going a few months ago, and she is very impressed with them.

I have visited their website as well. I would feel more comfortable going to a clinic that specifically deals with lyme disease.

I am really just curious about people's opinions on this clinic. Do you feel you are getting adaquate treatments? Do you feel comfortable at this clinic? Any other info anyone would like to share would be appreciated!!!!!!

I sent my mom to Dr. J (thanks, Connie!), after she finally decided that her weird symptoms just MIGHT be due to Lyme. She was probably infected in CT over THIRTY years ago!

He advocates both antibiotics and nutritional supplements to support the body's own defenses. My mom decided against all the supplements, but was not rejected as a patient for it. Dr. J was careful to introduce her meds gradually, on account of her age. She is now seeing some improvement. Given how many treatments she has tried in the past, it is amazing!

Regards,
Shaz

Hi shazdancer,

I have heard that they will start people off slowly on meds if needed. This will probably be a good thing in my case because I had several allergic reactions last year. The doctor just kept pounding me with high doses and never cut back. I developed three allergic reactions back to back.

Thanks for your posting. I really wish the best for your mother. It sounds like she is already on the right track!
