Has anyone found an effective way to breakdown the lactic acid (buring pain). I'm trying epsom salt baths now, which doesn't help all that much. I can't take mag. because it binds with my neurontin.
Thanks! -sunny

Cramping of the muscles occurs when you have a buildup of lactic acid.
Calcium ions are unable to get back into the muscle because there is not enough ATP available.
If you get a cramp take a large amount (3 or 4 tablets) of oyster calcium. That should help.

Guess you are a hunk a hunk a burning love?
Lemon juice in your drinking water is said to help... we use it quite a bit around here.
Weight lifters who work out hard and burn muscles also use that trick to help them ease the burn and get rid of the lactic acid faster.
L-Glutamine helps strengthen muscle tissues. It is an odorless, colorless powder you stir into water and drink. Can be purchased at the health food store. Look for a "pharmacutical grade" quality with no other additives.
Hope that helps the BURN... Elvis.
