I died on December 14 and was brought back to life by the 911 paramedics. I was at my doctors office and he called 911. His morphine injection went into my spinal column instead of the epidural. My heart stopped. For two days they fought to keep me alive as I was only taking 1 breath every 30 seconds. Finally I woke up. I was so bruised from all the IVs in my arms and hands. I looked like I had been beaten up. I was in the hospital for 7 days.
This episode left me with infection and scarring in my bronical tubes, two lumps were found in my lungs and we will check them again in 3 months, and I was left with an abnormal heart beat. Hopefully time will heal it all.
I am still so weak and tired all of the time. At least I am on amoxicillin for 10 more days, so I may just be herxing. Hopefully I will be back on line soon. I miss everyone so much. I have received a lot of cards and really appreciate them. They cheer me up so much.
I will soon be back up to running speed and functioning normally. God isnt finished with me yet. He still has work for me to do and I am trusting Him to enable me to finish the tasks he has put before me.
Lovey
I am soooo sorry to hear everything you have been through. What an ordeal. I truly wish you the best and I hope you fully recover from all of the trauma you have been through, both physically and emotionally. What an absolute nightmare. Rest and don't push your self. Oh, and I am glad you are still with us!!!

WOW! It is a miracle that you are here and posting to us. I am so glad you are alive and that you made it through such a terrible ordeal. I have died before too, and even though most of it is a blur, it changes you forever. You are strong and determined, and you are right, you are not done living yet. We all need you, your family needs you and the world needs you.
Please rest, get well, and know that you are loved. I hope you get some serious cash out of the doctor who did this to you.
be well,

I don't give up until the fat lady stop singing. I'd learned that from a friend when she complimented me about how strong I am and the will not to be stop.
Most of these Quacks are either killing you or trying to kill you. I don't go to them for any of my treatments, but just for annual checkup and still cross my fingers if they are still able to check my blood pressure and heart beat.
Glad to know you are ok and take good care of yourself. God bless.
As for suing the doctor, well, I probably wont. Even tho I am an old legal eagle I just dont think I want to put myself through the years of stress it would cause. Besides, that poor doctor is having a nervous breakdown just wondering if I will or I wont. teehee. I have too many friends who are doctors that live with the threat of malpractice hanging over them. I just cant see myself bringing charges against anyone. It was an honest mistake by my doctor. I have so much scar tissue on my lower back, I can see how easily it would be to not be able to find the center of my spine. No, I just dont believe I could in good conscience sue him for making the mistake. He is a Good doctor.
My focus should instead be spent on getting back to normal and picking up my tasks again and moving forward in an effort to make a positive difference in someones life each day. I made a promise to God years ago that I would live each day trying to do His will with my limited talents. God Bless ALL of you.
Lovey
It's wonderful to have you back.
You've been missed.
Give us updates, as you are able.
Sending lots of concern & support to you.
That is so awful and frightening. I am glad you are better and hope you continue to improve and get back to "normal".
I admire your forgiving spirit, and I can understand that going to court over this would be more stress than is probably good for you.
Perhaps the biggest "punishment" and wake-up call for your doctor is living with it in his conscience and it will teach him to be extra careful in the future.
