OK, I'm spinning my wheels. Part of me is numb, the other part is just frantic. I don't know what to do next. -Should I get a Bowen test to confirm Lyme? -Should I travel to the US to find an LLMD to look over my case and confirm? -Should I be taking something for this? BUT what? I don't know except I've read that antibiotics help... I'd prefer to go natural, but I don't know that it's possible.
Please, please help to get me moving. I hear my naturopath who doesn't want to believe it's Lyme until I do more tests; I hear others who say I should move on this and truly I'M LOST!
I understand your confusion! It must feel awful lonely up there with no LLMD's around. How long do you think you've had Lyme?

I must have lyme for 20 years. That's when all symptoms started appearing. It's a lonely place to be, you're right. I am just so thankful this board is here. Otherwise, I think I'd also be nuts.
I spoke with Dr. Harris yesterday and so did my Dr. He says I'm positive and need to get tested for Babesia too. He's real nice and offered treatment advice.

since you've had it 20 yrs, there's no big rush. Another week or month won't make any difference in your recovery time. [I had it for more than 40yrs before receiving treatment, so I'm not just saying that.]
Are you going to look for an LLMD then?

I found a dr who has experience treating lyme. He's not too far from me. So, instead of going to the US, I guess I'll wait until July to go to him.
40 years you've had Lyme! WOW!! Good for you for finding out about it. How were your symptoms before treatment? How are you now?
I'm having trouble walking- legs weak. My balance is bad too. That's really my biggest complaint. There's other smaller things...I have to hang on to someone or use a walker to get out.
