these birds would seem to make excellent research subjects, because if they're eating them and they'r still alive, I'd like to know what's in their system that kills keets and other tbds. Fascinating.
I'll bet its one or more enzymes and proteins that are deadly.
They are noisy though! If you know peacocks... guinea fowl have not nice voices and will wake you up at dawn so make sure no neighbours will complain...
I'm considering them here since I also dislike to spray and tend to not enjoy my own 3 acre property.
Thanks for posting this, I sure hope this one stays up. Chickens are also tick eaters and despite much popular belief, are legal in most cities. Roosters have some limits, with noise of course, but chickens can be kept easily. Lots of info out there for this.
