Hi everyone!

Here's my predicament...
I'm on my 12th day of doxy (200mg, 2x/day). I just had a few days of dizziness. Hard to walk at all and impossible to drive. I stayed in bed. Now I'm finding it hard to walk around, not becacuse of dizziness. My big problem is with my balance and legs. So, walking has been a challenge lately.

Could these symptoms be a herx at all? OR is this just me maybe getting worse???
Any ideas anyone? Is feeling a little better way off still?

It sounds like a herx to me. Our LLMD says if it looks like a herx . . . it is.

Give it some time, you're only into the 12th day and things should get better on/off.

SOUNDS like a herx, but you may want to run it by your LLMD if you're really worried. He MAY want you to back off the meds a bit....just for a day or so...or until you feel a bit better.

Scary indeed!

Thanks for the helpful replies. Unfortunatly, my dr's (LLMD) appointment isn't until August. So, other than you all, I'm going solo here.

I hope things get better. I've been having those better moments for one hour here and there...wish it was more!!

Many, many thanks-
SAK

Hope you feel better soon!

Funny you ask about phone consults, because I just called to ask about this today!
Apparantly, the dr is booked solid and 'doesn't do that.'

Oh well...it would've been nice though!

Thanks-
SAK
