Has anyone had an increase in appetite on doxycycline? I'm suddenly eating vs being my usual low appetite gal. I heard my stomach actually growl!!

I hear ya, it is not uncommon to gain weight while on doxy for some.For me, I had to take it 4 times a day and since it made me want to hurl I had to eat with it and not veggies

doesn't make me hungry at all.but i do have to eat something while taking it. taking 600mgs daily.also the headache's are unbearable.....gary

Isn't it strange? Side-effect of doxy is loss of appetite not increase!! I know that a Lyme symptom can be loss of appetite-- that's me for years now.
It's just so weird to be hungry (and definitely not for veggies) after all this time of not being hungry ever.
Is it possible that some bugs are dying??

Seems like a good sign, a "healthy" appetite and all that.
