So I went to the LLMD yest. I have been off all the meds (I have been treating Babs 1st since Dec. 04) since Aug. 10th and still have been having symptoms.
Well low and behold he thinks I have Bart too.
I am not sure how to handle all this. I really thought he was going to say lets do the IV for the Lyme (i was really ready to say ok lets go). I have been having symptoms that are different than my babs ones and for the last month of treatment for the babs I felt as if I had leveled off. Two questions: 1. Has anyone else had this happen to them? 2. Is there anything I need to be aware before I go down this road?
Sorry I just really needed to vent about this stupid thing, I mean really how can I have all three little buggers? Thanks Everyone

Really not uncommon to have all three at the same time, some even more than that !
What's a little rifampin added to the med cocktail you've been on ? Good luck.

Our stories sound identical. I too treated babs for 11 months with very little change in the way I felt. Finally after going off of all meds, I was diagnosed with bart. I am currently on my 3rd month of Levaquin. As far as what you can expect going down the bart road. I guess it depends on what drug you are taking for the bart. Levaquin is extremely hard to take, and the herxing for me personally has been horrid. The great thing is I feel better than I have in two years after treating bart for 2 1/2 months.
