Does anyone know how to find the whereabouts of a doctor who is no longer in practice? I need the records of the LLMD who first diagnosed me back in 1996 for disability insurance purposes. Long story but if I don't get these records then I won't get the disability insurance that I sooo desparately need! Thanks for any help.

Yeah, I googled him and there is lots of info on him and his pioneering work with getting the word accross about lyme disease being here in Southern Calif. even though 99.9% of docs say "we don't have that here". He was getting pretty paranoid though and wouldn't even report his lyme patients with the CDC. I got completely symptom free after being treated by him so after awhile (against his advise) I just quit taking the ABX. BIG MISTAKE! Not even a year later all symptoms plus more came back with a vengance!! I found another LLMD in SO. Cal. that took my insurance and so I started seeing her but I haven't gotten any better. Worse in some ways! And now the first LLMD isn't practicing any longer and according to my lawyer it's that doc's records that would only help me because of the year. It's real confusing!
