Our dear friend Lymesux or AaronKatie has been in the hospital off and on for a few weeks now.
She is experiencing increased seizure activity and what looks to be Bell's Palsy from what they think might be semi- strokes.
They are running tests, and may do an operation on her brain if they can pinpoint the exact location that is causing all of the excessive activity.
Some of you may not know Lymesux well, but she is a wonderful person and the mother of 2 incredibly cute lyme kiddos...
and a special friend of mine.
Any extra well wishes would should be appreciated about now.
We love you NE...
Melanie

Thank you all and special thanks to Melanie, my dear friend.
Still unsure what is going on - Can't read much or write - will probably be checked into GW hospital tomorrow for further testing - hopefully good meds to keep these headaches away
Maybe these are seizures, strokes, lyme - all of the abover none, not sure. mother died of CH at age of 47 for no apparent reason (now 42), so its scary.
Thanks again to all.

Am praying for you and yours too. I can relate to the bell's palsy, it's very scary.
I hope and pray that the docs can find out what's wrong and you'll be on the way to a speedy recovery. Posted by Linda LD (Member # 6663) on :

Dear friends,
I wanted to pass on an update on Betsy.
She was admitted into the hospital on Monday.
Today, they withheld the seizure meds in order to force increased seizure activity and capture more diagnostic information.
She has had two so far today..so, as you can imagine, she is not feeling too great.
Thank you so much for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers during this really difficult time.
My best, Melanie

Any news?
Posted by Melanie Reber (Member # 3707) on :
Our dear Betsy is out of the hospital.
However, the docs did not find what they were looking for, and the information that was gathered was a bit conflicting...
so, no real answers.
Hopefully Betsy will stop in when she is up for it to give a better description than what I can offer right now.
Thank you all so much for the continuous good wishes
Melanie
