i hope this means i am getting better. i have been lucky with not all that much physical pain. neuro and exhaustion are my main sx.

if this is the kind of stuff y'all go through every day, then i am really sorry ..

it's the kind of pain that's so strong it also give you a headache and makes you feel nauseous.

i took some aleve but that didn;t help

just needed to say ouch......

Hello Hopeful,
I can empathesize with you. I was off abx for several weeks in which symptoms came back and now I'm back on it so far for 10 days and I still feel like crap.

It seems I feel more pain instead of better. How long this is gonna last, I really don't know!

Last time I was started on abx, I was put on three different kinds in a matter of 6 weeks before I started to feel better, and that's when my abx stopped not that it was completely gone, but becuz there was a misunderstanding and the pharmacy screwed up my prescriptions.

Hang in there, Hopeful, and I hope you start seeing some improvements soon. I am in the same boat with you. My jaw, neck, and knees bother me the most today and I feel kind of blah, which I think it's due to the weather...high humidity.

Yeah, my prescription has been straightened out for the moment. My doc prescribed me on Biaxin for 3 months, which it the longest I've ever been prescribed any abx at one time.

I am taking the generic form of Biaxin called Clarithomycin. I don't know if there is a difference between Biaxin and Clarithomycin, even though they are supposed to be the same, yet one brand is cheaper than the other.

yeah those pains are BAD at times, and what is even worse is that you cant see them! And no one else can too---that is very maddening isnt it? It hurts SOOOOOOOOOOOO bad but it just looks like everyone else's body part.

Oh dear! My jaw, ears and neck really hurts today!

Last night, I tried to read a bedtime story with my son, but found it difficult. My jaw kept popping while I read the story to him and my tongue felt like it was trying to dive down my throat & choke me.

My tongue kept feeling too thick that I find it difficult to swallow making me have trouble pronouncing the words correctly to my son...augghh!

My jaw feels painfully connected to the back of my head and neck...ouch! It feels similar to when a lab technican wraps one of those rubber straps around your arm to draw blood.

Unfortunately, I can't find the knot to release it! Wwwwaaaahhhhh!

I don't know why I am having so much difficulty with my jaw & swallowing lately -- be it herx, the weather or what??

sorry your night was crummy.

i did have trouble swallowing and i choked frequently for a while. i'd say a couple of months. then, it passed and i feel more normal.

i don't know if it was herxing or the actual lyme, just know i'm glad that's not going on now.

of course, now i'm trying to get over a sinus infection. but that's different.

had stiff neck a ways back, but that was more of an injury due to repetitive motion.
