Curious as to what your worst symptom or top symptoms would be?
Mine is definately fatigue & insomnia, and emotional neurological crying outbursts.

Good morning everyone, Here are some of my symptoms that I been dealing with: seizures, memory, sensitive to light & sound, air hunger, fatigue, flu-like feeling, weakness in legs, the latest one is loss of bowel control, but there's no Lyme down here in Florida or there's no such thing as Chronic Lyme Disease. Do you know how humiliating these symptoms can be, the doctors I had seen (Mayo & U.A.B.) said it was all in my head!!!!! Finally a local I.D.Doctor tested me for Lyme (positive) and the sad thing about all of this is that I worked at a Health Dept. Robin from Florida

Hands down it's gotta be headaches.
Sometimes so severe I have to put ice packs on my head and try not to puke so much.
All I can do is lay there and wait for it to end.

fatigue cognitive - loss of creative imaging, integrating information, short term memory, just not so bright a bulb on the bush, lousy expressive language skills, so-so organizational skills

Worse symptoms can vary day by day or week by week as it is in my case.
Lately it's been: neck pain, jaw pain, ear aches, sore throat, pressure headaches, joint pains in my shoulders (feeling like they are being pulled out of their sockets) numbing cold feet, hands, arms & lower legs, joint pains in knees and hips ongoing low-grade fever between 99.5 to 100.8 fatigue, yet unable to sleep more than 2-3 hours at a time numbing tingling feelings up my arms and legs, swollen, painful armpits getting lost in action

Thanks for everybody's replies thus far. I was wondering if somebody could tell me what air hunger is? Posted by Somerset (Member # 7534) on :
"Hi hopeandme", You asked what air hunger was??? It feels like no matter how hard you try to get air into your lungs, inhaling for example your lungs stop moving/working That's what it feels like for me.I would be curious to hear other explanations. Robin

Regarding AIR HUNGER:
I think that would be like when climbing stairs or hills, I can barely breathe and my heart kind of starts beating faster. And I think I am gonna die before I make it to the top.
I used to take the stairs by leaps and bounds, over elevators and such, but not anymore! If there is an elevator, I get on it now... even it some of them are so annoying slow!

My most consistent worst symptom is cognitive impairment. I miss my memory, creativity and problem-solving, and especially my ability to concentrate.
Worse but intermittent symptoms are headaches, air-hunger, heart-pounding, and muscle and joint pain.
My description of air hunger: I can see that I am breathing deeply, but I feel I am not getting enough oxygen. Very scary -- hate it.

I forgot to add this to the worst of my symptoms: disordered sleep.
I have various sleep problems, but the most frustrating in the alpha-delta sleep anomaly. I was diagnosed in a sleep lab.
It's where more awake alpha waves interrupt deep delta sleep. Even when I DO manage to get a decent amount of sleep, I wake up feeling worse than when I went to bed. The sleep is very "unrefreshing."

Pain and fatigue that is controlled by mangosteen juice, and insomnia that is controlled by prescription meds. Other than that, I'm doing great!
I used to have nearly every symptom in the book.
Rob....better make sure you're not harboring babesia. I think that is what caused the worst fatigue for me.

Fear. (Will it ever end? When will it return? Tunnel vision, blinding headaches, fatigue.)
Frustration. (People DO NOT understand - "Work through it - get over it - don't dwell on it - you're making yourself sick - when will you EVER be well - you're always sick - just do it - my "favorite" - you had the antibiotics, you are well - you must want attention - and memory impairment - can't remember, jumble sentences, can't talk, can't write)
Headaches leading to Bell's Palsy - 4 times.
Heart Palpatations.
Burning, stabbing Pain in joints.
Those are the ones I can remember today.
But I am grateful that I am as well as I am. I am grateful that I am able to get the medicine I need. And I am grateful that there are some doctors and others out there who haven't lost sight of the fact that it's not our fault the stupid ticks bit us - we don't want to be sick - and that we just want our lives back.
Well... everyday is a new day, and a new opportunity to be well. What else is there to do but to try.

Worst in descending order: MIGRAINES Joint/Muscle Pain Fatigue Neuropathy
Scariest? The mental disfunction. When I can't get out the right words or my sentences tangle...when I can't think..or read...it's terrifying.
