How bout we start a thread about our small victories that will lead to winning the war against lyme in our lives?

I'll start.

My 12yr old son, who is home-tutored as he recovers has made 2(!) friends that he is getting
together with.

My recent brain MRI did not show any tumors!

It did show 1 white mass; a closed off blood vessel they felt was an old injury.

Well this feels like a big victory to me...

I actually drove to the mall and got to stay there like 2 whole hours.

Most days I can't drive anywhere due to the severity of the fatigue.

Char - I am glad your son has some friends he gets to play with....

I have had lyme since I was 10 so I know how hard it can be to keep friends even at that age.

BettyG - I am glad there was not any tumors...

I hope the stuff they did find is not serious.

Best wishes [Smile]

My SO and I were dancing in the kitchen today, and I reserved a beach house for a week next September.

I like this post! A nice upbeat change of pace! We can all answer this if we try hard enough!

Small victories...we have to be thankful and grateful for the things we can do.

Today I ran errands, and was happy I could do it! [Smile]

Though I am as slow as molasses, I have been able to get washed and dressed each day, take care of my cats, do a load of laundry for mom every other day.

Able to do my taxes on line.

Made some mothers day presents and start to wrap them.

On a strong day, ride in car with parents and use scooter in Walmart or supermarket.

Get on lyme board each day for a post or two, answer pms. Wrote support letters for Dr J ( all this month). Hope my eyesight get better and can sleep more. baby steps. baby steps. Thanks for everyones support.
