I don't know of any. But I don't live in CT, either!

well my mom is showing some symptoms.....and she keeps getting these recurring colds and is always tired. She is still in better health then I am, but i do watch closely.

With the warm weather in the northeast this winter, i think we are going to see more and more getting sick.

At the Ya Ya Sisterhood site, mentioned in a previous thread, Dr H is quoted as saying that in 20 years all Americans will have Lyme.

I estimate that 15 million+ have been exposed, a large number are carrying asymptomatic infections, others are properly diagnosed with lyme, or more often not diagnosed at all, dxd with psychiatric disorders, MS, and especially CFS and fibromyalgia, which may have been created to hide the numbers of lyme infections.

I can back up the 15 million number, too. it's the reason for the repression. likely the result of a bioweapons accident involving attempts to create hybrid strains born by culex mosquitoes. the repression is done for economic and political reasons.

the lyme disaster may well have been a major contributing factor to the 9/11 attack and especially the anthrax attack. there is a manhatten project in microbiology under way in this country.

In my state, I've mentioned to strangers at the pharmacy, health food store, library, hospital, doc office, that I have lyme.

Whoever i mention it to . . . either has lyme, still has lyme or is closely related to someone who has lyme.

Most of the time they have lyme and they have a miserable medical/doctor history that includes undertreatment and continuing symptoms.

By the nature of the business I'm in, I talk to alot of people.

I'm convinced 60% of the people in my state know they have lyme and the other people have it and just don't know yet.

I think its a sad truth that some people who poo poo lyme

may, in the future , themselves be fighting this disease.

I hope someone comes up with better research and awareness that's not filled with mis-information.

I think most of the general public, friends and family are clueless because of what they are reading or hearing from mis-informed GP's and CDC sites ect..

Someday the disease may to big to shuffle under the rug under anymore. I don't wish for this day.

As it will mean too many more people are sufrfering from this blood sucking diease.

I truely pray it doesn't come down to that. [Frown]

Elle , ive had similar things happen to me when i mention i have lyme. My dad has mentioned it to a few of his friends, and they have realtives with the horrid disease.

Once you start talking you start hearing more and more have lyme.

My dad shows some slight symptoms, which can also be other things so he is getting those checked out. he has boughts of dizziness,,,,and dark flashes in front of his eyes....blurry vision while driving.

Bruce that is a scary thought for sure

Hi,

I went to a little gathering of foreign coworkers who are visiting the US last night.

My bosses boss (from Germany) was there and my coworker mentioned that I have Lyme disease. The big guy knew all about how it's not curable and told me that it is rampant in Germany. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

I told him about the Schardt protocal which I'm currently on and he was interested in finding out where Dr. Schardt is from.

I'm amazed.

You just never know, do you?

Take Care,

Corgilla
