Anyone out there ever get a recurring red eye (only one eye at a time?) as a Lyme Symptom??

Conjunctivitis - Could be a lyme symptom. I'd get it checked out.

I have had it looked at many times over the last 2 years. It is not itchy or very painfull. Does anyone have it?

My son (who does not have lyme) had a red eye. I was concerned it might be "pink eye" a bacterial infection.
I spoke with his doctor. He said to look under the lower lid of the eye. If it is green and goopy, then it is likely a bacterial infection and needs treatment. If not, it is likely viral, and will run it's course.
His other eye got pink next. Then they got better. Now they are pink again. He has had a cold too.
So...pink eyes can be caused by viruses, bacteria and I'm sure other things. I've not heard of lyme causing "pink eyes" though.
My eye symptoms have been: paper cut feeling that is fleeting anywhere over the entire eyeball, flashes of light in the peripheral vision, blurry vision (one eye only, and lasting for only a half hour) and floaters in the eye.
No fun.
Good luck.

Thanks for your reply. I have had the best opthamologists in Boston look at my eyes many times. They are stumped. They are never gooey - it is not conj. My LLMD Dr. D said he has seen it with lyme before but I have yet to hear of anyone that has it.

My mom has lyme as well, and she had this problem for 2-3 yrs, and no one could figure it out. Since being diagnosed, she found out that it was caused by lyme, and that it was due to the blood vessels in her eyes bursting. Since being on Flagyl, it has gone away, but it comes back anytime she goes off of it.
