Finally caught evidence via lab results: Babs WA-1 and probable Bart.

Will be starting Zith, Mepron, and Artimenisin.

Oh joy [Roll Eyes]

This is new territory for me. Sympathy (and pity) welcomed.

Hey there Miss Tabby,

I suppose this is a mixed blessing...
sorry to know you are dealing with so many co-infections, but pleased that you can now make great strides in recovery!

My best,
Melanie

Tabby,

I honestly think your news is good news. I just started treatment for Bart in December after being on abx for Lyme since June.

I've already seen quite a bit of improvement and realize I would have never gotten better had this co-infection not surfaced.

It's made me understand the importance of testing for and treating co-infections.

Continued healing...

Andie

Thanks everyone. I had no way of treating co infections until now.

My Lyme-friendly doc didn't know how to proceed (or didn't want to proceed) treating co infections without lab evidence.

Finally was able to get back to a real LLMD. She knew immediately which co infections to look for and was right on the money the first time around.

Also found out I am extremely low in B6, B12, vit D, thyroid (the other doc said my thyroid levels were fine), and a bunch of other stuff the other doc didn't think to look for.

LLMD thinks my thyroid gland is close to dying off but hopes killing off some of the Babs will bring some life back to it.

i wasn't making any real progress until the babs was adequately treated. i just didn't have a lot of symptoms other than tiredness and some body temperature changes.

glad to see you again

Sorry that dang tick left you with so many infections.

But now at least you know what you are fighting and that helps alot.

By the way I love the little cat in your signature.

Best wishes [Smile]
