Yuck. I sat in a meeting tonight with my muscle twitching and my brain weird fog and my ear ringing and the almost ever present pasty feeling in my body and just HATE this disease. I want my life back. I sit here with tears in my eyes. I just started on my first real Lyme treatment in 16 years . There are spots on my MRI and I just want it to go away. It's so hard being strong. So hard.

LALYME, it's ok to cry and seek support also. YOU don't have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders alone.
I'm finding more & more that those of us who have MRIs, have some types of white matter spots on them. It's the fear of the unknown again.
As i told someone else lately, we can deal with what we KNOW about, but it's the unknown that works out subconscious day in/out 24/7.

My second home is Cal...I was befriended by a bunch of folks that used to live in Chula Vista...
back in 69......
Really great folks and the one Lady I love there has polio and has to use a chair...
When I get down I think of her and her GREAT attitude....
Then I don't feel so bad....
I had infantile parallysis and it went away....
You actually are more fortunate than a lot of we lymies... You actually have some white spots on your MRI...
When they check most of us with that test we come out normal, which feeds the ducks more reasons to think we're wacky>
Hang in there...I'm pretty convinced the brain can replace dammage with time and treatment...
