Hi All, I'm 38yo mom from southwestern PA. My 17 year old son and I both have Lyme. I was diagnosed first, then as I was being treated and learning about Lyme, I noticed my son had similiar symptoms. Long story short, he ended up being diagnosed too, went to Dr. J in CT (an awesome man!)
We nearly lost everything financially (without medical coverage) for my son's treatment and I stopped going to the doctor for myself so we could get him treated instead. He's pretty much symptom free now for 1 year and I'm working at a job that has medical coverage, finally.
Anyway, I'm starting over now after nearly three years. =( Wish me luck. Ro

It's a tough road when more than one in the family gets sick, the financial burden for just one can be staggering.
