Okay, quick run down. I have not been diagnosed with Lyme through a doctor but from what some of you tell me on here the bullseye rash is enough it itself. So....
The tick bite was before my DD was born and I do nurse her.
Little background first: At 2 weeks old she was put on an atib. for strep. Took 4 more course to cure it.
Had 2 UTI infections
About 6 ear infections
Thrush
High fever- 105.5
etc. etc.
Anyhow I have seen that all this can be a sign of Lyme. Now she has had a total of about 15 antib. percs. and probably 7 rocifin shoots. All for other conditions. The fever of 105.5 was unexplainable. Every test they did was neg.
I have seen some post refer to antibo. showing up in the test. What is this. When she had the fever of 105.5 they done a step and it was a false postive and the doctor said the antibo. could of been showing up from the rocifin shoot.
Docotor had her on a sulfur anitb. for 6 straight months. At her 12 month check up we stopped it. 15 months and no new signs of any illness. No fever, nothing.
If my DD had lyme does this sound like a typical cause to warrent testing for her?
Could the disease made her sick for all this time and with in the last 3 months she just have her "better days?"
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this!

Don't know alot about babies and Lyme. This is just my opinion. It sounds to me like she was probably born with Lyme. It is possible all the antibiotics she took for other things "cured" her or at least put it into remission.
If this was my daughter this is what I would do. I would have her tested by IGeneX -- if the test shows positive then you would have to decide whether or not to treat or wait and see.
A Western Blot tests both IgG and IgM -- one supposedly shows current infection and the other supposedly shows past infection. It is not quite that simple -- but the test could possibly show if she had been infected in the past.
Once you have the test results then you can consult with a LLMD -- a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor -- as to what to do. Testing is not always accurate, but it is a starting point.
You say she has been symptom free for 3 months -- most LLMD's treat for 2 months symptom free. So the doc may just say these are the symptoms you need to watch for etc. And he could suggest nutritional supplements or immune boosters if he felt they were needed to keep her healthy.
If it was me I would want to know if Lyme had been the problem in the past so I could be alert for any reoccurance in the future.
Have you been tested? Are you being treated? Need to take care of yourself as well.
Beat wishes.

Thanks, I am still new to all this.
No, I have not been tested and since I don't have medical insurance I am still trying to figure out the best route I can take.
