Its one of those days that you ahve no choice but to be a slave to your illness.

I woke up and all it took was showering to drain me of my days energy. I have slept for 13 hours, feels like I could sleep for 13 more. My neck is so inflamed and stiff, back stiff, ribs inflamed and crackling.

At least on a normal day I can pretend to not be ill. [shake]

i can relate.

i shower every other day now so i dont get overly drained. I used to never leave the house without a shower pre lyme.

Ive been pushing thru some odd symptoms all day....drinking lots of water.

i think i finally figured out i am tired....my body wasnt telling me in a way i could figure out though. sigh.

elley, I get those symptoms from Babesia. After treating babesia they are much better.

This unpredictability of lyme is very frustrating and I think we can all relate.

Yesterday for no apparent reason I was flat on my back most of the day. Today is better and I am heading out to grocery shop.

Over the years I have had to learn to listen to my body and go with how I feel. This doens't make for planning very easy though.. if somedays I can't do much, I just don't do much...

and hope that tommorow brings a better day. With treatment over the last 3 years the better days have been more plenty. But still need to lay low on days and this bites. [Frown]

I Hope you can find better days a head [group hug]

p.s. here's a good thread on babs and treatments:
