On the news tonight Governor Brederson was admitted to the hospital late Monday night. Flu like symptoms and a bad headache after getting bitem by a tick.. He's on abx story in the Tennessean tomorrow I wonder if he'll say theres no Lyme Disease in Tennessee.

I answered the medical post on this subject, so will not repeat myself.

It's unfortunate, but I think it will take many more Governors, Congresspersons and other high profile people getting tickbit before the medical community at large really pays attention to TBD's.
Nevermind us "nobodys" (in their eyes). Human nature seems to be that it takes the illness / deaths of many "sombodys" before action is taken.
I'd like to live long enough to see it, but, have my doubts about that. As long as I can reach one more person... I tell myself this every day. It's the only way I'm able to cope with the feeling of powerlessness.
Hope the Governor recovers and screams his bloody fool head off about what happened!
