Has anyone had any experience with Medicare Advantage Plans that they would be willing to share?
I have SecureHorizons Direct. They look terrific on paper, but I have not been pleased -- slow to pay, deny claims that should be approved (basic testing!) which must then be resubmitted, generally friendly but not necessarily well-informed customer service reps.
My specific question at this point is this: Are you having trouble finding doctors who accept your Medicare Advantage plan? (I don't mean just Lyme docs; all docs) SecureHorizons told me that any doc who accepts Medicare will accept them, but I am not finding this to be the case.
Any other comments most welcome as well.

I don't know about the Advantage plans but I do know that when something isn't working for you, you leave it. I do not suggest you go from one Advantage plan to another. Aren't they HMOs?
