I may get lots of flak over the following but I have to say whats on my mind because its really getting me down [Frown]

This snarling & bickering over petty stuff has got to stop.

The paranoia about trolls is epidemic & out of control.

I am so tired of hearing "Is she or He a troll"

Is he a She or He? Who cares. It's a human being with a TBI & thats all I need to know.

If I had, in my lyme induced haze gotton a med mixed up or a date mixed up & where grilled like some people here recently and I would not come back.

Can't help but think what the newbies must be thinking when they read people bickering over the petty stuff here recently.

People come here suffering so. Going blind, crippled, in unspeakable pain .

Lets re-direct our focus please on helping these people. Isn't that what counts?

Yes. Be careful. Don't give your docs name or too much personal info. Report any suspiciopus or disturbing behavior to the monitors here. Thats all. And just be a better person & SOB.

If some people want to be disruptive then bickering back & forth will only give them more attention.

SOB

Sorry if I offended anyone-

but this stuff is really getting me down. [Frown]

...funny thing about this troll stuff...

I am new here and really have no idea just what a

troll IS! I have read the comments, so yeah , i

get the general idea... but if we stick to the

guidelines (no doc names? not sure if thats all

but...) wouldnt they eventually get tired of hangin out here?

BTW- when i wake up in the morning,

i look like a troll! Got the hair and everything!

(effects from the lyme+meds i guess, as i first

lost it in patches and then it just all broke off-

went from hair down my back, to hair like a

CHIA-PET... only mine never seems to grow with

water!!!
...and now, when i shake my head,
(then pick myself off the ground cos inevitable, the 2 go together with my lack of balance)

my hair will do all those funny shapes we'd make as a kid with our troll dolls...

[group hug] Dana [group hug]

I'm just not looking at it.

When I feel better I sometimes read it and shake my head and SOB.

There's nothing I felt I could do about it.
Thank you for posting this. [kiss]

view, sorry about your troll hair but I like your sense of humor.

But now I need to know... what color is your troll hair? Do you have a wishbone thingy on your foot? [Big Grin]

For me hair has gotten better and worse with certain treatment. So, I'm hoping yours also recovers.

blue-

my hair is naturally a light brown, but have colored it

(professionally, so you know it wasn't singed

off the time i tried to look like pam

anderson... pre-hepititus!

heck, now, i'd look like her dog if i had a choice!!!)

anyway, up until i got sick, iv'e always had thick

long, healthly hair, which had colored blond streaks.

It first came out before any treatment in clumps around the size of golf balls... about 3-4 spots.

Next, i noticed on the meds, it began to grow back.

then, during my wicked divorce (in process) i couldnt afford any meds, so i went off all...
(time range was 4-5 months with no meds before it came out)

Which was this past february. It remained about

1/2 inch to 1 inch but very thin, not like chemo when you go bald completely.

then, when it started to grow even a bit,

off it would break, and i was no longer coloring it.
needless to say, i removed the mirrors in my

house because the worse i looked, the worse i

felt... so i just don't look!

My kids and i now laugh a bit when we think about

the first growth coming out like a swirl, or an

old man's come-over

(no offense to old man comb over's)

I just don;t happen to look good with one!

Been on the rocephin I.M.(4th week) and biaxin and

noticed a difference already... i'll keep my

fingers crossed... until they cramp!

please, if you have any thoughts on what worked best for your hair, let me know!
P.S. I don't remember a wishbone?

Hi, Dana,

I had to laugh a bit when I read your post - not because of anything funny here on Lymenet.

But last year, before all heck broke loose again for me, I started visiting some bulletin boards that were totally mindless for TV shopping channels, make-up chats, beauty websites -- all girly stuff because for a moment of idiocy I thought I might start going out again and having a social life. Ha!!

Anway, you would not believe the trolls on those boards. People would make catty remarks and really insulting attacks because someone liked one brand of mascara versus another!

Or someone liked a style of jeans versus another. Or a person didn't like someone's hairstyle on TV.

I could not believe it. I thought, hey walk a mile in my flat, unstylish, Bartonella-hurting shoes some day. I wanted to scream that these women should be grateful that the brand of mascara was their biggest problem.

That's when I realized that every bulletin board has a certain percentage of troublemakers, a certain number of posts that I just had to SOB.

Now I just avoid those bulletin boards completely while I focus on health.

Anyway, hugs, hugs, hugs to you!

Jill

Thanks for the hugs Jill [Smile]

Funny that people would get their pantys in a wadd over mascara. I don't have strong feelings about makeup. LOL

I hope you are doing better

and good health to your family too [group hug]
