Been doing fairly well after a year and a month of lyme treatment...then the liver enzymes went up.
One week after that the pain started in my side aroundabout where the liver is, so we stopped the Ketek entirely. Pain subsided and ultrasound showed no enlargement, thank god.
Now off antibiotic for three weeks and the neuro symptoms..numbness, neuropathy and that beaten to a pulp feeling have all started up again.
Don't see the lyme doc until the 15th...just wanted to moan a lil bit.

So sorry to hear. I've been having to go on and off abx repeatedly the last year. I took a considerable break and had pretty bad neuro symptoms arise.
It at least showed me that I'm on the right track, that I need abx. I keep thinking back to that when I doubt.
But if you need to give your body a break, then give it a break. No use to damage yourself.
