I really need to make some money while in treatment. I thought I would be back to work by now. I'm going to rent my house out, but still need to make some money for bills.
Does anyone have any ideas for ways to make money or get a job online? I can't go out of house or do training outside of house. I have a degree in Finance and experience with Underwriting if that helps.
I'm willing to work, but basically can not without being in bed or laying down for the most part... due to frequent dizzy spells.

If you have some experience in Finance...What about keeping books, accounting type function? My sister-in-law started a business and now works at home all the time.
When I was at my peak illness - I did some transcription (not what I went to school for...but no pressure and flexible schedule). I work at home a lot now ---Programmer.

I may be wrong, but you may have to apply for an Occupational License to operate a business from your home.
Unless you can fly under the federal and state tax radar....
Just a thought.
However, if you work for a company that pays you and allows you to work at home, then you will be okay.
Hoping you find something. I work at home, harder than I ever did anywhere else.
I just wish I could get someone to pay me to clean, do the laundry, cook, and keep everybody heading in the right direction.

Elance.com. You can bid on jobs that youcan stay at home and do on your computer. I think theres one called guru.com too. I havent checked that one out yet though.

I started a direct ship beverage company 2 1/2 years ago...basically home bound due to Enmvironmental Senstitivies....
I've been there...done that and now own an international beverage company of my own

I have an Ebay store. What makes it nice is I am a dealer for companies that dropship for me so I don't have to handle the shipping end of it. I just get the orders, take the payment, fax the order to the various companies and they ship for me then bill me. I sell horse related items.
To do something like this you need to become a dealer for reputable companies that are willing to dropship for you.
There are companies out there that claim they will do this but be careful who you deal with as your business reputation is partly in their hands. If they do not ship timely and stand behind their products, you don't want to sell for them as they could wreck your reputation.
I have done fairly well at this. Not as well as I would like but enough to pay for my ranch expenses and a little more. Now I am counting on this extra income to help with my medical bills.

I have two home-based businesses and one benefit is that I can work when I am able and not when I am not. Of course that means it's harder to have a steady stream of income.
I would suggest that if you are interested in anything in the direct sales area that you check out the Direct Selling Association's website, www.dsa.org . Reputable companies are members.
