Our insurance will be renewed this April 1st and I may be able to change to BCBS PPO (another prayer of mine got answered) [Smile]

This means a few thousand dollars extra for annual insurance premium, but at least I can get some more blood work covered and don't need to BEG for referrals. Also, the "LLMD" I planed to see accepts BCBS PPO.

Happy!

That is good news. We have had good experience overall with "in network".

I have a PPO thru Aetna. A lifesaver for me.

But make sure your PPO is going to accept your LLMD. My PPO paid for my first two visits out of state and then the red flags went up for them (BCBS) and they denied any and all LLMD charges and many tests.

I appealed and someone at BCBS called all the Infectious Disease docs in Louisville and asked them if they treated would and could treat lyme disease and they all said yes. So....they informed me I could go to out of these ducks for treatment. I'd been down that quack routine before.
