Here is part of what I see:
The IDSA's faith-based view of lyme disease will be thrown over, and sooner than we all think.
Doctor's formerly affiliated with the IDSA's infamous 2006 "Guidelines" will be embarrassed to admit that they ever once signed on. After all, the science was available even in 2006 that demonstrated that these guidelines were wrong and ignored much of the peer-reviewed literature.
The United States will pass some form, however limited, of universal health care. That will take a bit longer.
Once the log jam of the IDSA's ideology is broken, breakthroughs in treatment of lyme disease will take place, as greater research funding goes into this complex disease.
Of course, all this did not happen without some pushing; lymenet was a great force in mobilizing lyme patients to support science-based medical treatment for tick-borne illnesses. After all, lyme patients are a pretty powerful group.

Smell.
If someone in the neighborhood burns a piece of toast I can smell it. Way too much smell sensitivity. I have to hold my nose in the laundry section of our grocery store.

Azure, I laughed when I seen your reponse. I've said for years that I know when there's a weather system is coming, no need for a meteorologist. I feel it as soon as it hits the state border. I can even tell you it's strength. lol

A few years ago I was blessed with the abililty to read a persons eyes.
I don't know how or why it happened but it did.
I can talk to someone and I can see so many things in their eyes. I've only met one person who I couldn't read a thing in their eyes. It was really strange.

I don't know if this qualifies....
I have the ability to keep going...
Doing laundry, cooking meals...etc.
That is even when I am not sure what it is I am doing...
Or when I am so fatigued I could just sleep standing up.
Or when I feel like it is all a dream..
Funny thing is.....I don't always remember how I did it or exactly what I did.
But I know I did it...No one else in this house would.
I am like the energizer bunny without conciousness.....
I keep going and going and going....
That should count for something......

This is a fun post.
I like the log jam being broke through. Hurray!
And Geneal...I too kind of do things and wonder how I did them.
It is not so much the brain and limbs working together...that is still a problem.
But, it is other things.
Sick....I worked in a low level men's prison for a while. I noticed that there were some of what I call the walking dead. No life in their eyes. It was so sad.
I get cigarette smoke coming through my vents taht I can't close down from the other apartments.
Hoping this will change soon and I will not have this at the new place.
I use to not be able to describe what a person looked like but could tell you more about what I was reading from the inside of them slightly.
I still have a little of that left. There is one lady who comes to visit that talks too much, but she has a sweet spirit.
Since coming down with lyme...I usually can not deal with people who talk about things taht are going on beyond the room I am in.
But, for some reason I am able to deal with her if her visits are limited. I think it is because of her sweet spirit that comes across.
Couldn't tell you what she looks like.
But, I have used my gut feeling so to speak to help me with lyme. Trying to trouble shoot and deal with things in my head is not always an option now.
So, I just go with my gut or wait it out until the brain kicks in and I can identify what the deal is.
A lady use to come visit that I started to get anxiety about her coming over. Couldn't figure out what it was.
Ran into her while in the power chair and she was in her truck. The sound of her voice made me cringe. (That and she never did get a clue what it was like to live with this....she was my counselor at the time)
Tones affect me more now.
Some of the American idol singers make the hairs stand up or seem to touch my soul when they sing.
Never had that before.

Well, thanks to the Lyme, I have "Bionic Ears" (not always for the better though...)
I also have this (usually scary) ability to dream of truth, or things to come. My friends and family forbid me from telling them my dreams (unless it is something really good!)
I am really good at figuring people out, but I don't know if that is a "Super Power"

Intuition and x-ray vision.
Because of my illness I have become aquainted with my own body enough to know what is good for me and what is not.
(Now, for the power to follow my own good advice more often!!! )
I can also look at other people and see where they hold pain, trauma, and dysfunction in their physical and emotional bodies.
I have also learned how not to do this.

I love Red Skeleton's saying "I have a sixth sense...I just lack the other five."
I also have an exquisite sense of smell...
I know who is calling on the phone before I pick it up (and we don't have caller ID).
My husband and I pick up the same groceries on the same day to surprise each other -- we buy the exact same items.
I can make any baby laugh or stop crying within seconds.
Kids generally gravatate to me (even when I don't want them...)
I'm good at laughing and listening to the elderly tell stories, because I love hearing them!
This is fun...

Well, if you are asking existential...
God in nature... the awe-inspiring function of things living and working amongst the confusion we humans create.
The God inside us all that allows us to know in the purest sense.
God in miraculous events: coincidental or amazing.
God as a larger force than we can possibly understand, but can stand back an be bowled over in waves of wonderment and appreciation!

When my neurological symptoms start acting up, I have the superpower of seeing two of everything.
That means that if my husband brings me a dozen roses, I can turn it into two.
If I need two oranges for a recipe and have only bought one - voila! I tilt my head to the left and now I don't have to go to the store for another.
If I look at my wedding ring the right way - Poof! I have two diamonds.
At work, I can suddenly find I have not one, but two administrative assistants. What I don't understand is why this doesn't translate into twice the work output. They must assume that when my superpowers are activated, they can work less.

I wish I had super powers to MEET and KNOW Magic Acorns "TWIN" Identical sister. I heard thru the grapevine she was cute,,,I already know she has a great heart,,, and a wonderful attitude in the face of the surgeries she is experiencing. Can her identical twin be ANY different???
Alas,,,Magic Acorn's husband is indeed a VERY lucky person,,,hope he knows how lucky!!
I just take it as a wonderful gift to be able to talk to the 'beautiful' people of the world. I think you ALL know who 'you' are. Each and every one of you ARE beautiful people!!

Thanks so much for the nice compliments. I unfortunately am a one of a kind squirrel. Alas, no twin sister. No sister at all, or brother for that matter. A only squirrel squirrel who is lucky to have two little nuts of my own.
Don one of these days you'll find a squirrel all your own. Maybe you need to hit Lincoln more often.
kam the most important thing I have going for me is my unending belief in myself and the ability to feel good about myself and the choices I sometimes need to make.
I may have lyme, but it doesn't have me.

I have several....
I can put myself in others shoes. I can understand that my poor hubby is really a saint.
Ever since we've been married, I've been ill, and getting sicker each passing day.
It's got to be very hard being the "caretaker", it's got to get old.
And like Geneal, I get things done, just don't know how that happens
Can predict the weather, many with chronic pain can.
And I can work through my misery to help others in need. TO show my toddlers that even though I am this sick, there are still others out there who need our help.
We deliver meals on wheels every thursday. And make necklaces to sell and raise money for cancer patients.
Although I think I might do the necklace thing for lyme awareness now too.
I'm sure there are many others, but seems my brain fog has taken the best of me today.
