When I first got this, my theme song was sail away...sail away.
Don't have a clue as to why that song kept playing in my head.
But, here it is almost 6 years later and I was recently reminded of that theme song while watching the travel channel.
it was the theme song on one of the Disney Cruises.
So, I am trying to take my mind off of lyme today.
Thought I would do a fun post on where would you sail away to??
The week long Disney Cruise looked pretty good to me. The only thing that would not work is the plane ride from the west to the east.
Not sure I am up to that.
Perhaps I could take a train. Stop at the lyme float on the way.

Always wanted to go to Pt Barrow Alaska just to see a polar bear walking down mainstreet.
Pacific Coast Highway in California. Driving down the raod in a convertible, with the top down of course.
Then Id have to stop and grab the fishing pole and go to the end of a very long pier and catch some dinner!

All 3 of those sound great.
I use to drive the Pacific Coast Highway from San Luis Obispo county to Monteray and another town that I can't recall right now.
At the time Clint Eastwood was Major and had a restaurant called Hogs Breath I believe.
Years ago.
I have always wanted to go back and see if the art shop is still there that was converted from water tanks.
The road has improved a lot. It use to be shut down frequently in the winter due to being washed out by large boulders and mud slides.
I passed through there one winter night during a mud slide and large boulder event.
I was lucky I was not hurt and only received 3 flat tires on the trip instead.
Just thinking of seeing a polar bear walking down the main street of a town in Alaska is fun. Being there would be a hoot.
Then there is the sites and smells of being on the end of a pair.
The sea gulls. The Pelicans. The surfers. And of course the fisherman. The smell of the salt air.
Depending on the pier...might even see my favorite sailboat...Shear Waters sail by.
She is a beauty.
Or a tall ship. Whewph.
Ah Life before lyme.
