My little boy is having surgery early this morning at 7:30 CDT for biopsy and removal of three suspicous areas on his head / neck so if you care to say a prayer I would appreciate it.
I wish I could sleep tonight and be at ease.

Wanted to tell you, my daughter had some odd bumps on her scalp. I told her not to worry it wasn't a tumor-but she still worried-so I took her to pediatrician-who immediately said-these are turmors ( ) and need to be removed surgically. So much for a Mom's credability.
She had out patient surgery,all went well. The diagnosis was toxoplasmosis!
It's nearly noon where I am, so i hope you and your little guy are resting comfortably in recovery and eating jello!

Thanks everyone for prayers and concern.
He was in surgery about 70 minutes and recovery a few hours. He had a hard time with nausea and dizziness after but that is pretty normal. His throat is sore from intubation and will be a couple days.
We are home and he is resting easy with some pain medication. I am glad to see him asking for drinks, eating, etc. He even said he was bored! He is on activity restriction for 10 days until stitches come out so that could be interesting. I will have to get creative. He is not very happy he can't play pee-wee baseball for a while.
I was suprised the incisions were so long. ONe on the top of his head is over 2 inches and the one on his neck is 1.5 inches and the temporal one is just over an inch.
Nurses were very nice and tended to his/our needs very well.

I hope your son is feeling better soon.
I feel for you mom as I've watched my little boy be wheeled into the operating room twice. It is heart wrenching and scary.
I hope the biopsies turn out to be benign growths and that he can resume being a little boy again.
Please take good care of yourself as you tend to your boy.
