[hi]
I love your quote listed on your posts. Did you write it? I keep a list of motivational quotes, may I write it down for myself?

Jazzy F, thanks for asking. During the first couple of weeks on the lymenet.org forum I was feeling so overwhelmed. The truth about this illness was threatening to drown me in despair.

Somehow I came across a little booklet during that time called, "Hope,A Partner To Faith" by C. Capps. Reading that booklet was like drinking cool water on a hot day. That is when I came up with the quote at the end of my posts.

So, yes, I wrote it. And yes, you may use it.

Here's a new one for you:

May we all enjoy the kindnesses of others
and overlook more than we confront.

I like this verse the best:

quote:
People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.

What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.

Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.

In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

-this version is credited to Mother Teresa

And I thought... "when I am there I am there, and sometimes I am not there at all," was quite good!

I like this one:

"what we do does not define us. What defines us is how well we rise after falling""

don't know where the original quote came from...I heard it in the movie "Maid in Manhatten" [Smile]
