Geneal...sending video's and that widescreen TV Walmart has been advertising to calm the family down. HA!

Happy Thanksgiving Lyme Warriors.

Think I will plan an imaginary trip to the Grand Canyon for next Thanksgiving. Who knows..it might just come true.

 -

May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.

May your mountains rise into and above the clouds.

May your rivers flow without end, meandering through pastoral valleys tinkling with bells,

past temples and castles and poets' towers into a dark primeval forest where tigers belch

and monkeys howl, through miasmal and mysterious swamps and down into a desert of red rock,

blue mesas, domes and pinnacles and grottoes of endless stone,

and down again into a deep vast ancient unknown chasm where bars of sunlight blaze on profiled cliffs,

where deer walk across the white sand beaches, where storms come and go as lightning clangs upon the high crags,

where something strange and more beautiful and more full of wonder than your deepest dreams waits for you

--- beyond that next turning of the canyon walls."

http://www.grandcanyon.com/

Ran across a 90 min video on line regarding planning a trip to the Grand Canyon while doing my imaginary planning.

From watching the video, it does look like I would need to make reservations now for the one restaurant at the Canyon for next year.

Amazing. Don't think I will as each year since coming down with this I think will perhaps next year I will make it.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Geneal, I'll swap you my two dogs and granddog for your kids! The dogs were all afraid of the wind that blew for hours this afternoon.

They wouldn't stop barking!

I am afraid if anyone got these Wild Indians, they wouldn't like me anymore. [Big Grin]

I think it is all of the excitement of Santa coming soon as well as the flagyl.

Yikes!!

Three more dogs might do me in with the seven I already have. [dizzy]

You guys are great!

We had my Mom over today. Ordered a cajun fried turkey.

My youngest (who eats turkey for lunch every day) ate rice. That rice was for the seafood gumbo.

My daughter bravely tackled a turkey leg. Then she said she wanted salami and string cheese.

The best part was this new recipe I tried for sweet potato balls.

You wrap mashed sweet potatos around a large marshmellow.

I put them in the oven to bake. Checked the oven about 10 minutes later

To discover I had made sweet potato pancakes. [lol]

My Mom and I laughed and laughed.

Hugs,

Geneal
