LymeNet recently was awarded with a Hope Award for having its website "offer positive support and encouragement to anyone suffering from a chronic medical problem. In particular, the awards recognise websites that:
*offer accurate information and resources for patients *encourage sufferers to search for new treatments and hope *refuse to accept inadequate medical advice or doctors who tell us to 'learn to live with it'!"
Congratulations LymeNet!!

This is a really wonderful acknowledgement of what so many of us know to be true!
Honestly, if it weren't for Lymenet and the information I got here, I can't even imagine how I'd be right now!

This makes me feel so good! I already knew from day one that I was in the right place! It took me a bit to actaully sign up and particiapte...maybe a little bit of denial on my part...
I am just happy that it is being recognized by others!
Thank you to everyone for making me feel like I belong here. It has meant the world.

Wow, I was feeling dicouraged after reading about Dr Jones earlier. Now this is something to raise our spirits and know we are not going down.
I don't know where I would be today if it wasn't for Lymenet. A much deserving award to Cave76 all the way over to Gigi.
Don't forget this board cannot operate without the donations of it's users.

We are good, aren't we?
The reward was created by IBS Tales, a website dedicated to education and support for patients with irritable bowel syndrome. The award alerts its users to other support sites of merit.
Thanks, Lou and staff, for all the hard work. You don't get thanked enough. I know I am one whose health education, and ability to sustain the crazy work schedule I have, was due to Lymenet.
Bless you guys! Shaz
