Hi, I have been sick for close to 4 months now, and I have started a big excel spreadsheet to track:
about 30 symptoms - on a severity scale of 1-10 drugs supplements diet exercise doctors
I should probably also add mood, activities, and other things.
Then I plot the sum of the scores for all symptoms over time.
Hopefully this can help me measure my progress and what may be affecting me positively/negatively. It's hard to tell if I'm getting better with all the ups and downs.
I admit, though, I get pretty sick of tracking all these details.
I'm wondering if anyone else has any good methods they use. ..Or possibly if there is some kind of standardized software or book or something?

this is in my newbie package, page 66; NEVER used it...good luck!
you want to make it EASY, NOT TIMECONSUMING on yourself for really SICK DAYS/WEEKS on end! Posted by gladyrae (Member # 13805) on :
backintherain,
Useful move tracking symptoms. I spent two days writing mine in journal form. A month later I condensed it.
Doctors need it condensed as possible. Lymees need it condensed to save office time explaining. Save more time for solutions and treatment.
My next move is to condense even more. I feel like keeping it in my purse so when friends ask whats wrong I can save them some painful listening to details.
At least if you are long winded like me that would be useful.
