Hi everyone, even though I don't post here much, I do lurk here daily.

I have been in treatment now for seven months, and have improved a great deal.

I return to my LLMD on Feb.6th, for my first check up in four months.

Many of my syptoms have cleared or deminished. but I do have a few stubborn symptoms however.

night sweats, GI issues, badder disfunction, and fatigue are my constant reminders; that all is not yet well.

I'm starting to believe I may have a co-infection.

I have never had a positive lyme test(quest)I know worthless, I've been clinically dx with cronic lyme.

Since my llmd was willing to treat me for lyme, I did'nt feel it was necessary to pay out of pocket for a Ingenx test, not that I did'nt want to; but finances are very tight!!

My question is, does my syptoms sound like any possible co-infection, babs, or bart, and has anyone had similar problems?

Fry labs in Arizona does excellent co-infection testings on bart/babs/ehrlichia.

folks have said they provide blood smears I believe. cost there is 1/3 ofthe cost of igenex co-infection test!

if you want more info, pm me, and i'll send you what i have.

don't know specific prices!! someone was supposed to check into this and get back to me, but haven't to date! [Wink]

I would suggest speaking to your LLMD about co-infections.

The tests cost a whole lot of money and unless you have the one or two strains

They are testing for.....well....I'd rather spend my money on supplements.

Hugs,

Geneal

Fry tests are extremely expensive - i would have your LLMD diagnose/treat coinfections clinically, as s/he did with lyme.
