I was thinking that cats were able to burp or how would they be able to hark up those solid indigestable mouse parts??
Anyway IF dogs and cats can burp and I 'think' they can,,,here is something I thought of this morning as a health help to get rid of rats and mice.
I understand that rodents CANT burp. So the idea is to put a pan of Coke or Pepsi out in an outdoor shed,detached garage, even attached garage IF mice are a problem.
Specially if its a dry part of the year and its the ONLY water source. I understand they LIKE the sweet flavor of it anyway!!
It HAS to have the fizz in it yet or it doesnt work. A real NATURAL great way to rid us of that nasty white footed mouse and I THINK,,,pet friendly!!!
To boot somebody said that cats dont like 'sweet' things. I heard in a live trap that the BEST bait is a marshmellow cause cats dont like them.
using dog or cat food as bait,,,you catch cats!! But it doesnt hurt them any. THATS why I like my live trap.
Another idea is to make a bait station for putting mouse poison in it,,,safe from pets. Take a 2' piece of pvc pipe and put a cap on each end after drilling a inch hole or a tad bigger......
DONT glue the ends so you can slip off and on to 'bait the station. Then you HAVE to weight it down with something your pet cant move.
The mice feel safe inside and they LOVE crawling in there to nest and find food!!
Anyway its time to rid yourself of rodent problems,,,and possible tick carriers and hosts!!!be well--just don--

You suckered me in with that title.. and I KNEW I should have SOB... but I had a weak moment and you got me.
The idea of putting coke or pepsi in a pan on the ground and trying to force a mouse to drink it while it is still "fizzy" is going to be a real trick my friend.
Now... I am no expert in the cola wars... and have never done the official taste test before... but my guess is the fizz will go flat before you can persuade a mouse to lap it up and burp...
And the only thing that will be in the pan are ants... who will be going after the sugar.
But the idea with the PVC pipe is not bad. I actually needed a way to protect the animals but get the mice.

PS.. If you are that bored.. you can always come to Florida and go swimming. I found a special lake just for you!

With 7 dogs there is always some type of release of air going on.
For some reason they only burp when they come up to me.
I guess that is a doggy compliment.
As far as flatulence.....house full of silent killers.
Actually my dogs are excellent ratters.

My dog definitely burps. He uses burps as a form of communication.
He also sneezes constantly when playing with other dogs. Sneezes are very threatening.
My cat snores.
But here is my super gross mouse story. I set out some old fashioned snap traps (used to have-a-heart, no longer)
I heard one of them go off in the the night and thought ha got the little ******* went back to sleep.
The next morning it was gone. The mouse and the trap. What the hell. I looked everywhere too.
Where could it have gone?

I am true blue serious on this causing mice to die.
Dont do it inside the house,,,cause the dead mice stink.
It DOES work best IF its hot and dry out and moisture is hard to come by
Its ALL natural and safe.
As I understand it,,,mice cant resist it!!
Their are additives that work extremely well for racoons and possums also.
Like when they get in your sweet corn patch and you get NO sweet corn from your yearly effort for GOOD food!!
