Hello everyone,

I haven't posted here in a while, and some of you may recall that my daughter, now 19 was finally diagnosed with Lyme and babs about a year ago. Well, after a 3 month search and TOTALLY because of this website, we found a LLMD in NJ who has (knock wood) worked nothing short of a miracle.

In Jnauary, she started college...only 1 semester behind her peers. SOme of you may recall the battles I had with the high school to allow her to graduate and attend her senior prom. Those few shorty months ago, getting out of bed was a major accomplishment for her!!

Dear Lymenet community,

I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all of your support, guidance and invaluable information. Most of all, for introducing me to the concept of a LLMD ... without which I shudder to think what her life would still be like today.

I Love you GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes we wonder if all these days and nights of reaching out and trying to educate others are actually are worth it.

This says it all.

Thank you for taking time to come back and share this story. There is no sweeter music to our ears than to know this site has provided the help some folks need to get on the right road again!

I had been feeling exceptionaly low today and I am glad to hear a success story that didnt come 20 years too late.

I am so glad I could cheer everyone up!! SHe had a long haul...12 years from tick bite to diagnosis and a lot of missed childhood in between. She is NOT bitter and is living it up at college...she even makes it to her 8:30 classes, which actually blows my mind.

I am glad her success can be of inspiration to others. I musdt say there were many times I thought she would be on disability and never have much of life outside of our home.
