Hellooo <<<<< Lymer family >>>>>,

The Doctors/Surgeons had hoped to have a bit more time to confer while helping mom get a little stronger.

She is still very weak, and her Vascular surgeon has been concerned about losing her during surgery.

They still haven't been able to get any blood flow into her legs to speak of,and she is staring to lose another toe.

Tommorrow, Monday April 21st, at 9:00 A.M. they'll do surgery.

They will go into her lower abdomen, check the major artery and blood vessels going to femoral arteries and legs.

If possible the surgeon will try to work on the femoral arteries, maybe a bypass of some sort???

I don't know exactly what they do for such situations...but they will try to save her life and as much of her legs as is possible.

The Rt. foot is looking very bad,so I don't know if they'll be taking it or not yet. Two toes are definetly dying.

If they cannot get blood flow to feed back into the legs she'll prolly lose them.

We are praying she makes it thru the surgery.Dad figures they'll induce medical coma for 48 to 72 hrs.

He and my brotehr will prolly go home for a bit, after she goes off to surgery. Her surgeon and the Doctors are great about getting a message phoned off.

Dads health isn't very good, after the various cancer issues, and his latest surgery over the Christmas-Holidays,He is rather weak.

Brother has some health troubles too, one being a Mycoplasma issue. So it is prolly better that they rest 'til the Drs. have news for them.

I'll be home,to await any news [we live about 18 hours from my Family]. TxCoord will be out part of tommorrow,he has a VA appt. to see if they can help him w/ the Rt.eye blindness, arthritis and a few other things.

I'll update again when we have news.

Love Silverwolf [Wolfn']

wolfin, [group hug] [kiss]

wow, that's quite the surgery she will be having.

my mother-in-law went thru having her toes removed 1st due to diabetes and then her leg up to knee. she did wonderfully for insulin dependent. we moved her here until it became to much, and then she went into nursing homes...

best wishes for a successful surgery tomorrow with the surgeon getting a good nights sleep and his hands are very steady and sure of themselves!

yes, please update us as time permits; SHE/YOU ARE IN MY PRAYERS!!! betty [kiss] [group hug]

<<<<< Betty and Lymetoo >>>>>,Thank You for keeping this up for us!And thanks to all who have been praying!!

As of earlier this evening,Mom was/is in ICU.Her surgery didn't start until about
11:00 a.m [Monday 21st].

The Surgeon did in fact do a bypass on both femoral arteries.

Left leg is reduced in swelling, and turning a healthy pink!

Unfortunately there is no sign of change in the rt. leg.

We don't know if they took off toes or part of the foot on the rt. side yet.

Her surgeon is very cautious, and remains hopeful.

Dad was so releived Momma made it thru the surgery he didn't think to ask if they'd had to remove toes etc.

He still isn't really well from his last surgery, and falls easily.

*TxCoord is indeed my husband, Tx=treament Coord=coordinator. He works w/ troubled youth.

Right now he is working part time,at a youth home, and hoping to be able to Treatment Coordination again.Or to do supervison of floor personel. We'll see!
