You are not alone. At times my hamstrings will cramp and lock up, I have to lay on the floor and just hope I can work the lock up out. At times it will get both legs and boy it really hurts. You can feel the stiffness and how hard they are by just looking at my legs and touching them.

BeatLyme,

My hands and legs definitely got weaker since I've had Lyme, not sure if it's the Lyme, coinfections, lack of exercise, or treatment. But, you aren't imagining things. (I thought I was until I went to physical therapy.)

My thumbs were one of my problem points. I began dropping things.

PT helped me get some stretches & light exercises to help me stay strong. I'm not too good about doing them, but I feel they are a bit helpful.

Hi [hi] I also wanted to say that the same things

happen to me and I have numbness and tingly

sensations on different parts of my body. Bad

headaches, feel like I'm in a fog when I drive,

dizzy and off balance, and klutzy. does anyone have

these issues? [bonk]

Magnesium and other minerals can help the cramping. Most of us are deficient in minerals, esp mag.

I kept having hand and foot cramps until I bought a good quality mineral supplement.

It worked!!

I hope your lyme treatment helps your current problems! [group hug]

My fine motor skills are shot, especially on my left side - my "bad" side. It's hard to grip small objects and my walking is topsy turvy.
