I got this info today from NatCapLyme:

The acclaimed Lyme disease documentary, UNDER OUR SKIN, will be showing at the SilverDocs Film Festival in Silver Spring, Maryland, from June 17-23.

It's important to let the film documentary industry know how important this film is to us all.

Success at SilverDocs will make more likely a broader distribution of Under Our Skin in theaters and cable.

SilverDocs is the top festival for documentary films, and were hoping to fill the theaters with enthusiastic audiences to show potential broadcasters the demand for this film.

So please forward this message to friends and family who might want to attend. There will be a Q&A session after each viewing.

SHOW TIMES:

Tues, June 17, 1:15 PM --- AFI Silver Theater

Sat, June 21, 4:30 PM --- Discover Center

Mon, June 23, 6 PM --- AFI Silver Theater (New addition!)

ABOUT UNDER OUR SKIN

Three years in the making, this documentary reveals the shocking human, medical and political dimensions of one of the most misunderstood diseases of our time -- Lyme disease.

Following the lives of courageous patients and physicians as they battle the epidemic, the film brings into focus a haunting picture of our healthcare system and its inability to cope with a growing terror under our skin.

This film was an audience award finalist in both the Tribeca and Berkshires (#2) film festivals.

How wonderful!!!

The hot shot doctors at Kaiser Permanente Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Springs Maryland, told my 38 year old wife that there was nothing wrong with her.

I picked her up at the hospital in a wheel chair unable to walk, in pain, and with no further treatment.

She was later diagnosed through Igenex with Borrelia, Babesia, Bartonella, Mycoplasma, and Ehrlicia.
