There are 3 parts to that. I do use Mesosilver, not the brand in the video.

also:
www.xpressnet.com/bhealthy/bhealthy.html#pen

I hope that is the right link. I had to type it out from the video. It says in part 3 video that Dr. Burgdorfer recommended it to the medical community but they went with pharmaceutical antibiotics instead.

THAT IS... WHEN they choose to...and only sparingly! No wonder they are trying to get colloidal silver off the market. It isn't dangerous at all....they just can't make a patent? Money? Just like they tried to make Vitamin C a prescription.

Sheesh!

Just after I was diagnosed with lyme, babesia and HME / ehrlichia in Aug. '97 - I could find no LLMD.

I called and actually got to talk with Dr. Burgdorfer. He was most agreeable to talking to me and I asked what he would do, if cost or LLMD availability were not an issue: " abx or silver?" He said, without a doubt, silver.

I did add a top grade colloidal silver to my supportive herbs and it made a huge difference in easing some severe neuro symptoms. Remarkable, really. I had to stop due to the (then) cost of $50. a bottle for about a week's worth.

I've never been comfortable making my own. I started once but could find distilled water only in plastic jugs at the grocery store I don't drink or eat anything out of plastic and don't want to make a supplement out of it.

Of course, if the water source is good, the blue/grey side effects of bad silver can be avoided. Still, silver needs liver support, but I think it can be safely utilized if well-studied and not over used.

Did Dr Burgdorfer give any more info than that, or just that it kills spirochetes? My goodness, imagine if we could all get well using just colloidal silver.....!

Clarissa, have you seen this?!

C: Just seeing it today, Friday, 8/15. It's certainly encouraging to me.

As you know, my LLMD swears by it! It's nice to have some validation on my protocol.

Taking the mesosilver every 4 days is definitely easing the herxes. I made it up to 4 tsps yesterday and was still functioning at quite a high level. Probably 1/2 the herx I had 4 days previous.

Slowly, I will close the gap between the days I do not take it, take daily and then keep ramping up.

My LLMD's goal is to have me taking it daily until all symptoms subside.

I'm thrilled to hear this news!

C: you should definitely talk to your LLMD about it when he gets back from vacation.

Thanks for the post!

I am taking it daily 4x per day... 4 teaspoons per day, heaping teaspoons.

I don't know if its made me herx yet full-fledged. I have some headaches and muscle aches.... but no outright full fledged hell-herx....

why would this be, I am definitely improving.

Maybe your Tick Borne illness' load is not that high so you don't have much to clean up?

The other thing you could do is ramp up on more Mesosilver and see if you do herx harder, hence more killing.

My LLMD drinks 8oz a day. No lie. He doesn't herx now because he's been doing this for a year.

I don't want to be the one to recommend ramping up but I will tell you that, at one point, I asked my LLMD what was the max I could take daily if tolerated, and he said 8 oz.

Might want to confer with your resources, first!

Best,

CD57,

You asked if Dr. Burg. suggested specifics. He did not. I was too dazed to know what else to ask. But he was very clear and repeated his certainly about silver being better than abx, in his opinion.

this was late summer or autumn of '97.

Clarissa, is your doc in any way a quack? I mean is he a reputable doc that knows his stuff or is it possible that he is a bit crazy? I am just asking even though I think hes probably a pretty good doc if you're seeing him regularly.

He is one of the most respected ILADS LLMD doctors in the country.

Please see my PM.

Is Clarissa better using silver as Burgdorfer advised ? ( He tested borellia with it ) .

Years ago i thought this was the answer. I bought the best.Power Labs mild silver protein.

I racked up huge credit card bills over 8 months of taking this silver.

It did nothing but force me to refinance my home again to pay for the credit card bills.

I am still strugling to keep up with the payments.

This is not right!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't seen Clarissa in YEARS. You could try PMing her so that if she shows up here, she'll see this.

Remember, what works in the test tube doesn't always work in the body.

Yes, lymetoo is right.

He was a Ph.D. and not a medical doctor. His experience and thoughts would have been based on lab work, not treatment with actual patients. Keep that in mind.

Its probably like anything else. It will help some, but not others.

I wanted to use it from the beginning, but was afraid of the silver, yet thought it might work.

I'm still afraid.

But may try it eventually.

It is very broad spectrum - even good against viruses.

Don't know if it would work against other co's.
Maybe that is why it helps some and not others.

I have started it and am herxing. I do believe it is a strong killer ! I started it after surfing many health boards for lyme and coming across MANY people who said it was the ONLY thing that made them feel better . Many had even taken years of ABX to no avail of improvement . I think it is worth a try for lyme as it cured other infections for me in the past .

Keebler , I understand reluctance to make it yourself , but many many people seem to be doing it safely from my reading .
I am apprehensive about it , but am amazed at how many are doing it and feeling better . Also,
many people share that they could not continue paying for it , and that their LLMDs were also using it for lyme daily . ( Surprised me !)

Dr. Burgdorfer did test colloidal sliver in a petri dish with spirochetes. He was asked to do this by someone he misunderstood. That person used Dr. Burgdorfer's name, falsely, to help sell a colloidal silver mixture that he promoted as a cure for Lyme disease and everything else under the sun. It did not cure anything.

I think Dr. Burgdorfer made a statement about that. I will try to find it.

Please go to medical questions and find my post "WOW read this ! " It is about colloidal silver being effective in cancer in a British study , posted at Motley Fool Caps online FEB 7 2012.

Another member,Droid, who knows someone cured of lyme with IV silver , posted a link to the article on silver and cancer .
