I want to send out public thanks to everyone who works with this website, in tick-borne illness support, with ILADS, etc. I am not being corny when I say that I wouldn't be here today if not for the availability of these resources. I was fading so and no doctors around me knew what to do. If I hadn't been able to find you guys and all the info, I wouldn't have been tested appropriately and getting treatment. Thank you with all my heart. Posted by bettyg (Member # 6147) on :

Brainspud,
I too have to echo what you have said here.
Sadly it took me five years to get my diagnosis and hadn't found this place yet.
My daughters roommate at college sent me here after my diagnosis and my jaw just dropped.
I came here in total fog and have had so much hand holding by so many here that I could never have gotten even to the point I am now without all the shared living experiences of others here as well as guidance with every herx and road block along the way.
I also know that without people telling me my herxes WERE normal and a positive thing, I fear I would have paniced and bailed treatment.
So yes, thank you to Lymenet and all the wonderful people here that have kept me fighting this horrid disease.
