Just wanted to let you all know that after being diagnosed in 2004 with Lyme I am finally in remission. I still have my daily struggles but I wanted to let you all know to stay in there and keep fighting. The best advice is to pray, follow your LLMD's orders, plenty of rest, good sleep, exercise, and know YOU WILL GET BETTER. I haven't been online in a long time but I feel I needed to get back in touch and say BE ENCOURAGED AND NEVER EVER GIVE UP OR GIVE IN. Any way I can help anyone, please feel free to holler. Alive and in remission in Louisiana. Posted by adamm (Member # 11910) on :

Thanks for the update!
It's always encouraging to hear stories like yours.
Maybe, just maybe there is a light at the end of this long, dark tunnel...

Adam I would be happy to share my story with you. It would take lots of pages to start from the beginning. In the short form I went for years undiagnosed with lots of medical situations and lots of doctor visits. Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, hypothyroidism, low white blood count, etc etc. Had blood test in 2004 with positive outcome and started the series of antibiotics. I took TONS and all sorts of amounts of antx with pain meds, antidepressants, sleep meds, etc. Every situation is different for every person. It's really a trial and error thing. Thank God for a wonderful Christian LLMD who helped me medically, spiritually, and emotionally. You can email me if you want more details. I honestly understand and sympathize with all of you. I pray every day mine will stay in remission but it's a day to day struggle sometimes. I still have good days and not so good ones. But it is SO much better than 4 years ago and hopefully avoiding stress and continuing the meds I'm on I hope to stay Lyme free. ANYTHING I can do for you please ask. Everything happens for a reason and I want to share HOPE for the Lyme sufferers because it is a daily disease that affects the sufferer as well as their friends and families. God bless you all and keep the faith. It WILL get better in time. God bless you all.

I think your LLMD is my LLMD too.
I knew that God meant for me to go to him.
Lymetoo was an Angel in sending me.
So glad to hear your remission news.
I plan to be there one of these days....hopefully soon.
Did you do his remission challenge?
BTW, I am in Covington, La.
PM me if you want to talk.
Hugs,
Geneal
