Tori, Happy 50th Birthday to you, golly gee, we would not have had a clue! This came right out of the blue that only a few of your closest family/friends knew! I know blue is your favorite hue, and it's mine too! Now it's for your BIG 50 !!

Thanks again to all the birthday greetings!
I just wanted to tell you all how wonderful my 50th was.
First, the age thing was/is a little difficult. BUT... I vowed to have fun despite the agedness Lyme has inflicted on my bones and joints.
I invited 30 people to play Laser Tag with me. For those who are unfamiliar with Laser Tag, it is big amongst the 9-11 year old crowd. In fact, I held my 9 year old's birthday party there. My party was adults only with friends ranging from 40-75 years of age.
At first, I was worried folks would think of it as a violent gun game. What it turned out to be was tag for the older-slower-mature person! No running... just walking quickly and hiding to surprise tag people with a red beam of light.
We all laughed and felt like children in the happiest of senses. After the first session was over, everyone wanted to play a second game...SO WE PLAYED AGAIN! Many people didn't know each other, so this game totally broke the ice.
Afterwards, everyone caravanned to my backyard where we had a BBQ picnic waiting. I love to cook and my sisters and I prepared a feast the night before. The guests worked up such an appetite after running around that they swarmed on the food like locusts!
It was a joyful, joyful event! I may feel very Lymie-relapsed, but I also feel very celebrated and happy.
Take that, Spirochetes! And that! And that!
Now onto stronger abx....to kick more spiro-butt!
Love to all,
wiserforit
